^3 (A)meanwhile praying also for us, that God would ^(B)open to us a door for the word, to speak ^(C)the ^[a]mystery of Christ, ^(D)for which I am also in chains,

¹⁹ and for me, that utterance may be given to me, ^(A)that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, ²⁰ for which ^(B)I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

²⁷ Now when they had come and gathered the church together, ^(A)they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had ^(B)opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

Pray for Us

3 Finally, brethren, ^(A)pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, ² and ^(B)that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; ^(C)for not all have faith.

^26 (A)the ^[a]mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, ^(B)but now has been revealed to His saints.

¹³ so that it has become evident ^(A)to the whole ^[a]palace guard, and to all the rest, that my chains are in Christ; ¹⁴ and most of the brethren in the Lord, having become confident by my chains, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.

The Faithful Church

⁷ “And to the ^[a]angel of the church in Philadelphia write,

‘These things says ^(A)He who is holy, ^(B)He who is true, ^(C)“He who has the key of David, ^(D)He who opens and no one shuts, and ^(E)shuts and no one opens”: ^8 (F)“I know your works. See, I have set before you ^(G)an open door, ^[b]and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

^9 (A)for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, ^(B)even to the point of chains; ^(C)but the word of God is not chained.

² that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, ^[a]both of the Father and of Christ, ^3 (A)in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
