Si Pablo sa Macedonia kag sa Grecia
20 Sang matapos na ang kinagamo, ginpatawag ni Pablo ang mga sumulunod ni Jesus. Ginlaygayan niya sila nga magpakalig-on, kag dayon naglisensya siya nga makadto sa Macedonia. 2 Madamo nga mga lugar ang iya ginpangadtuan didto sa Macedonia, kag ginpalig-on niya ang mga tumuluo paagi sa iya pagwali sa ila. Dayon nagderetso siya sa Grecia, 3 kag tatlo ka bulan ang iya pagtiner didto. Sang mapanakayon[a] na siya kuntani pa-Syria, nahibaluan niya ang plano sang mga Judio sa pagpatay sa iya, gani nagdesisyon siya nga magbalik paagi sa Macedonia. 4 Nag-upod sa iya si Sopater nga taga-Berea nga anak ni Pirus, si Aristarcus kag si Secundus nga mga taga-Tesalonica, si Gaius nga taga-Derbe, si Timoteo, kag ang mga taga-Asia nga si Tykicus kag si Trofimus. 5 Pag-abot namon sa Filipos, nag-una sila sa amon sa Troas kag didto nila kami ginhulat. 6 Ginpatapos namon anay ang Piesta sang Tinapay nga Wala sing Inugpahabok antes kami nagpanakayon halin sa Filipos. Lima ka adlaw ang amon biyahe kag nagkit-anay kami liwat didto sa Troas. Nagtiner kami didto sing pito ka adlaw.
Nabuhi Liwat si Euticus
7 Sang sabado sing gab-i, nagtipon kami sa pagpamihak-pihak sang tinapay. Kag tungod nga si Pablo mapanakayon sa madason nga adlaw, nagwali siya hasta sang tungang gab-i. 8 Madamo ang mga suga didto sa ibabaw nga kuwarto nga amon ginatipunan. 9 May pamatan-on didto nga ang iya ngalan si Euticus nga nagapungko sa bintana. Kag tungod nga ang wali ni Pablo malawig, gintuyo siya kag sang ulihi natulugan sing hamuok kag nahulog siya sa bintana halin sa ikatlo nga panalgan.[b] Sang paghakwat nila sa iya, patay na siya. 10 Pero nagpanaog si Pablo, kag pag-abot niya kay Euticus, ginhap-an kag ginhakos niya siya. Dayon nagsiling siya sa mga tawo, “Indi kamo magpakulba, buhi siya!” 11 Kag nagbalik si Pablo sa ibabaw, nagpamihak-pihak sang tinapay kag nagkaon. Sang nakakaon na siya, nagwali pa gid siya sa ila hasta sang pagbutlak sang adlaw. Dayon naglakat siya. 12 Ang pamatan-on nga nahulog gindala nila pauli nga buhi, kag nalipay gid sila.
Halin sa Troas pa-Miletus
13 Nagsakay kami sa sakayan pa-Asos, kay nagsiling si Pablo nga hapiton siya sa Asos tungod kay malakat lang siya pakadto didto. 14 Sang pagkitaay namon sa Asos, ginpasakay namon siya kag nagpadulong kami sa Mitilene. 15 Halin sa Mitilene, nagderetso pa gid kami sa Kios, kag sang madason nga adlaw nakaabot kami didto. Sang madason pa nga adlaw sa Samos kami, kag sang madason pa gid nga adlaw sa Miletus na kami. 16 Wala kami maghapit sa Efeso, kay indi gusto ni Pablo nga maatrasar siya sa probinsya sang Asia, tungod nga nagadali siya nga makaabot sa Jerusalem sa wala pa ang adlaw sang Pentecostes.
Ang mga Bilin ni Pablo sa mga Manugdumala sang Iglesya sa Efeso
17 Didto sa Miletus nagpasugo si Pablo sa Efeso nga magkadto sa iya ang mga manugdumala sang iglesya. 18 Pag-abot nila, nagsiling si Pablo sa ila, “Nahibaluan ninyo kon paano ang akon pagginawi sang ako kaupod pa ninyo, halin gid sang akon pag-abot sa probinsya sang Asia. 19 Nag-alagad ako sa Ginoo nga may pagpaubos kag paghibi.[c] Madamo man nga mga kabudlayan ang akon gin-antos tungod sang mga malaot nga mga pahito sang mga Judio kontra sa akon. 20 Nahibaluan man ninyo nga wala gid sang lipod-lipod ang akon pagsugid sa inyo sang mga butang nga para sa inyo kaayuhan, nga akon gintudlo sa publiko kag sa inyo mga balay. 21 Ginpaandaman ko ang mga Judio kag mga indi Judio nga kinahanglan maghinulsol sila sa ila mga sala kag magbalik sa Dios, kag magtuo sa aton Ginoong Jesus. 22 Karon, makadto ako sa Jerusalem tungod nga amo ini ang sugo sang Espiritu Santo sa akon. Wala ako kahibalo kon ano ang matabo sa akon didto. 23 Ang akon lang nahibaluan, nga bisan diin nga siyudad ang akon ginakadtuan, ang Espiritu Santo nagapaandam sa akon nga ang prisohan kag ang paghingabot nagahulat sa akon. 24 Pero bisan ano ang matabo sa akon, basta matapos ko lang ang buluhaton nga ginhatag sa akon ni Ginoong Jesus, nga amo ang pagwali sang Maayong Balita parte sa bugay sang Dios.
25 “Nalibot ko kamo tanan sa akon pagwali parte sa paghari sang Dios, kag karon nahibaluan ko nga indi na kita magkitaay liwat. 26 Gani sugiran ko kamo karon, nga kon may ara sa inyo nga indi maluwas, wala na ako sing salabton sa Dios. 27 Kay wala gid ako sing may gintago sa inyo parte sa bug-os nga katuyuan kag plano sang Dios. 28 Bantayi gid ninyo ang inyo kaugalingon kag ang tanan nga tawo sang Dios nga ginapabantayan sa inyo sang Espiritu Santo. Tatapa gid ninyo ang iglesya sang Dios nga iya gintubos paagi sa iya kaugalingon nga dugo.[d] 29 Kay nahibaluan ko nga kon makahalin na ako may mga manunudlo dira nga daw pareho sa mabangis nga mga ido[e] nga magasulod sa inyo kag magaguba sang inyo grupo. 30 Magaabot man ang tion nga sa inyo mismo grupo may mga tawo nga magasugid sang binutig sa pagpatalang sa mga sumulunod ni Jesus kag agod sila ang ila pagasundon. 31 Gani mag-andam kamo, kag dumduma ninyo nga sa sulod sang tatlo ka tuig, adlaw-gab-i wala ako nag-untat sa paglaygay sa inyo tanan nga may mga paghibi.
32 “Kag karon ginatugyan ko kamo sa Dios kag sa iya pulong, ang pulong nga parte sa iya bugay, nga makapalig-on sang inyo pagtuo kag makahatag sa inyo sang tanan nga pagpakamaayo nga gintigana para sa tanan nga nangin iya mga anak. 33 Wala ako naghandom sang inyo mga kuwarta kag mga bayo. 34 Nakahibalo gid kamo nga nag-obra ako agod may galastuhon ako sa akon mga kinahanglanon kag sa akon mga kaupdanan. 35 Ginhimo ko ato agod ipakita sa inyo nga paagi sa sini nga pagpangabudlay mabuligan ang mga imol. Dumdumon ta permi ang ginsiling ni Ginoong Jesus nga mas bulahan ang nagahatag sang sa nagabaton.”
36 Pagkatapos hambal ni Pablo nagluhod siya kaupod nila tanan kag nagpangamuyo. 37 Naghinibi sila tanan, kag ginhakos nila si Pablo kag ginhalukan. 38 Nagkasubo gid sila tungod kay nagsiling si Pablo nga indi na sila magkitaay liwat. Pagkatapos gindul-ong nila si Pablo sa sakayan.

Through Macedonia and Greece
20 When the uproar had ended, Paul sent for the disciples(A) and, after encouraging them, said goodbye and set out for Macedonia.(B) 2 He traveled through that area, speaking many words of encouragement to the people, and finally arrived in Greece, 3 where he stayed three months. Because some Jews had plotted against him(C) just as he was about to sail for Syria,(D) he decided to go back through Macedonia.(E) 4 He was accompanied by Sopater son of Pyrrhus from Berea, Aristarchus(F) and Secundus from Thessalonica,(G) Gaius(H) from Derbe, Timothy(I) also, and Tychicus(J) and Trophimus(K) from the province of Asia.(L) 5 These men went on ahead and waited for us(M) at Troas.(N) 6 But we sailed from Philippi(O) after the Festival of Unleavened Bread, and five days later joined the others at Troas,(P) where we stayed seven days.
Eutychus Raised From the Dead at Troas
7 On the first day of the week(Q) we came together to break bread.(R) Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. 8 There were many lamps in the upstairs room(S) where we were meeting. 9 Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead. 10 Paul went down, threw himself on the young man(T) and put his arms around him. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “He’s alive!”(U) 11 Then he went upstairs again and broke bread(V) and ate. After talking until daylight, he left. 12 The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.
Paul’s Farewell to the Ephesian Elders
13 We went on ahead to the ship and sailed for Assos, where we were going to take Paul aboard. He had made this arrangement because he was going there on foot. 14 When he met us at Assos, we took him aboard and went on to Mitylene. 15 The next day we set sail from there and arrived off Chios. The day after that we crossed over to Samos, and on the following day arrived at Miletus.(W) 16 Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus(X) to avoid spending time in the province of Asia,(Y) for he was in a hurry to reach Jerusalem,(Z) if possible, by the day of Pentecost.(AA)
17 From Miletus,(AB) Paul sent to Ephesus for the elders(AC) of the church. 18 When they arrived, he said to them: “You know how I lived the whole time I was with you,(AD) from the first day I came into the province of Asia.(AE) 19 I served the Lord with great humility and with tears(AF) and in the midst of severe testing by the plots of my Jewish opponents.(AG) 20 You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything(AH) that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. 21 I have declared to both Jews(AI) and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance(AJ) and have faith in our Lord Jesus.(AK)
22 “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem,(AL) not knowing what will happen to me there. 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me(AM) that prison and hardships are facing me.(AN) 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me;(AO) my only aim is to finish the race(AP) and complete the task(AQ) the Lord Jesus has given me(AR)—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.(AS)
25 “Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom(AT) will ever see me again.(AU) 26 Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you.(AV) 27 For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.(AW) 28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock(AX) of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.(AY) Be shepherds of the church of God,[a](AZ) which he bought(BA) with his own blood.[b](BB) 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves(BC) will come in among you and will not spare the flock.(BD) 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples(BE) after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years(BF) I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.(BG)
32 “Now I commit you to God(BH) and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance(BI) among all those who are sanctified.(BJ) 33 I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing.(BK) 34 You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions.(BL) 35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
36 When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.(BM) 37 They all wept as they embraced him and kissed him.(BN) 38 What grieved them most was his statement that they would never see his face again.(BO) Then they accompanied him to the ship.(BP)

9 And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.
10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
11 When he therefore was come up again, and had broken bread, and eaten, and talked a long while, even till break of day, so he departed.
12 And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
13 And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.
14 And when he met with us at Assos, we took him in, and came to Mitylene.

18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house,
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
36 And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
37 And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him,
38 Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.

Because some Jews had plotted against him(C) just as he was about to sail for Syria,(D) he decided to go back through Macedonia.(E) 4 He was accompanied by Sopater son of Pyrrhus from Berea, Aristarchus(F) and Secundus from Thessalonica,(G) Gaius(H) from Derbe, Timothy(I) also, and Tychicus(J) and Trophimus(K) from the province of Asia.(L) 5 These men went on ahead and waited for us(M) at Troas.(N) 6 But we sailed from Philippi(O) after the Festival of Unleavened Bread, and five days later joined the others at Troas,(P) where we stayed seven days.
Eutychus Raised From the Dead at Troas
7 On the first day of the week(Q) we came together to break bread.(R) Paul spoke to the people and, because he intended to leave the next day, kept on talking until midnight. 8 There were many lamps in the upstairs room(S) where we were meeting. 9 Seated in a window was a young man named Eutychus, who was sinking into a deep sleep as Paul talked on and on. When he was sound asleep, he fell to the ground from the third story and was picked up dead. 10 Paul went down, threw himself on the young man(T) and put his arms around him. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “He’s alive!”(U) 11 Then he went upstairs again and broke bread(V) and ate. After talking until daylight, he left. 12 The people took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.
Paul’s Farewell to the Ephesian Elders
13 We went on ahead to the ship and sailed for Assos, where we were going to take Paul aboard. He had made this arrangement because he was going there on foot. 14 When he met us at Assos, we took him aboard and went on to Mitylene. 15 The next day we set sail from there and arrived off Chios. The day after that we crossed over to Samos, and on the following day arrived at Miletus.(W) 16 Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus(X) to avoid spending time in the province of Asia,(Y) for he was in a hurry to reach Jerusalem,(Z) if possible, by the day of Pentecost.(AA)
17 From Miletus,(AB) Paul sent to Ephesus for the elders(AC) of the church. 18 When they arrived, he said to them: “You know how I lived the whole time I was with you,(AD) from the first day I came into the province of Asia.(AE) 19 I served the Lord with great humility and with tears(AF) and in the midst of severe testing by the plots of my Jewish opponents.(AG) 20 You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything(AH) that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. 21 I have declared to both Jews(AI) and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance(AJ) and have faith in our Lord Jesus.(AK)
22 “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem,(AL) not knowing what will happen to me there. 23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me(AM) that prison and hardships are facing me.(AN) 24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me;(AO) my only aim is to finish the race(AP) and complete the task(AQ) the Lord Jesus has given me(AR)—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.(AS)
25 “Now I know that none of you among whom I have gone about preaching the kingdom(AT) will ever see me again.(AU) 26 Therefore, I declare to you today that I am innocent of the blood of any of you.(AV) 27 For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.(AW) 28 Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock(AX) of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers.(AY) Be shepherds of the church of God,[a](AZ) which he bought(BA) with his own blood.[b](BB) 29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves(BC) will come in among you and will not spare the flock.(BD) 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples(BE) after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years(BF) I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears.(BG)
32 “Now I commit you to God(BH) and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance(BI) among all those who are sanctified.(BJ) 33 I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing.(BK) 34 You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions.(BL) 35 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
36 When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.(BM) 37 They all wept as they embraced him and kissed him.(BN) 38 What grieved them most was his statement that they would never see his face again.(BO) Then they accompanied him to the ship.(BP)

12 And they brought the young man alive, and were not a little comforted.
13 And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.

17 And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.
18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,
19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house,
21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:
23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.
24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.
27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
36 And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.
37 And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him,
38 Sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake, that they should see his face no more. And they accompanied him unto the ship.
