Awit 83
Ang Dating Biblia (1905)
83 Oh Dios, huwag kang tumahimik: huwag kang mapayapa, at tumiwasay, Oh Dios.
6 Ang mga tolda ng Edom at ng mga Ismaelita; ang Moab at ang mga Agareno;
11 Gawin mo ang kanilang mga maginoo na gaya ni Oreb at ni Zeeb; Oo, lahat nilang mga pangulo ay gaya ni Zeba at ni Zalmuna;
14 Parang apoy na sumusunog ng gubat, at parang liyab na nanunupok ng mga bundok;
17 Mangapahiya sila at manganglupaypay magpakailan man; Oo, mangahiya sila at mangalipol:

83 Canto. Salmo. Di Asaf.
2 Dio, non darti riposo,
non restare muto e inerte, o Dio.
3 Vedi: i tuoi avversari fremono
e i tuoi nemici alzano la testa.
4 Contro il tuo popolo ordiscono trame
e congiurano contro i tuoi protetti.
contro di te hanno concluso un'alleanza;
7 le tende di Edom e gli Ismaeliti,
Moab e gli Agareni,
8 Gebal, Ammon e Amalek
10 Trattali come Madian e Sisara,
come Iabin al torrente di Kison:
11 essi furono distrutti a Endor,
diventarono concime per la terra.
12 Rendi i loro principi come Oreb e Zeb,
e come Zebee e Sàlmana tutti i loro capi;
13 essi dicevano:
«I pascoli di Dio conquistiamoli per noi».
14 Mio Dio, rendili come turbine,
siano umiliati, periscano;
Psalm 83
New International Version
Psalm 83[a]
A song. A psalm of Asaph.
1 O God, do not remain silent;(A)
do not turn a deaf ear,
do not stand aloof, O God.
2 See how your enemies growl,(B)
how your foes rear their heads.(C)
3 With cunning they conspire(D) against your people;
they plot against those you cherish.(E)
4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy(F) them as a nation,(G)
so that Israel’s name is remembered(H) no more.”
5 With one mind they plot together;(I)
they form an alliance against you—
6 the tents of Edom(J) and the Ishmaelites,
of Moab(K) and the Hagrites,(L)
7 Byblos,(M) Ammon(N) and Amalek,(O)
Philistia,(P) with the people of Tyre.(Q)
8 Even Assyria(R) has joined them
to reinforce Lot’s descendants.[b](S)
9 Do to them as you did to Midian,(T)
as you did to Sisera(U) and Jabin(V) at the river Kishon,(W)
10 who perished at Endor(X)
and became like dung(Y) on the ground.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb,(Z)
all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,(AA)
12 who said, “Let us take possession(AB)
of the pasturelands of God.”

Psalm 83
King James Version
83 Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.
2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.
3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.
4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.
5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:
6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.
9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:
10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.
11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:
12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.
13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.
14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;
15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.
16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O Lord.
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:
18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the earth.
