4 Sagutin mo ako kapag tumatawag ako,
O Diyos na tagapagtanggol ko!
Binigyan mo ako ng silid nang ako'y nasa kagipitan.
Maawa ka sa akin, at dalangin ko'y iyong pakinggan.
2 O tao, hanggang kailan magdaranas ng kahihiyan ang aking karangalan?
Gaano katagal mo iibigin ang mga salitang walang kabuluhan, at hahanapin ang kabulaanan? (Selah)
3 Ngunit alamin ninyo na ibinukod ng Panginoon para sa kanyang sarili ang banal;
ang Panginoon ay nakikinig kapag sa kanya ako'y nagdarasal.
4 Magalit(A) ka, subalit huwag kang magkakasala;
magbulay-bulay ka ng iyong puso sa iyong higaan, at tumahimik ka. (Selah)
5 Maghandog kayo ng matuwid na mga alay,
at ang inyong pagtitiwala sa Panginoon ilagay.
6 Marami ang nagsasabi, “Sana'y makakita kami ng ilang kabutihan!
O Panginoon, ang liwanag ng iyong mukha sa amin ay isilay!”
7 Ikaw ay naglagay ng kagalakan sa aking puso,
kaysa nang ang kanilang butil at alak ay sagana.
8 Payapa akong hihiga at gayundin ay matutulog;
sapagkat ikaw lamang, O Panginoon, ang gumagawa upang mamuhay ako sa katiwasayan.

4 (A)Answer me when (B)I call, God [b]of my righteousness!
You have [c](C)relieved me in my distress;
Be (D)gracious to me and (E)hear my prayer.
2 You sons of man, how long will (F)my [d]honor be treated as (G)an insult?
How long will you love (H)what is worthless and strive for a (I)lie? Selah
3 But know that the Lord has [e](J)set apart the (K)godly person for Himself;
The Lord (L)hears when I call to Him.
4 [f](M)Tremble, [g](N)and do not sin;
[h](O)Meditate in your heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah
5 Offer [i]the (P)sacrifices of righteousness,
And (Q)trust in the Lord.
6 Many are saying, “(R)Who will show us anything good?”
(S)Lift up the light of Your face upon us, Lord!
7 You have put (T)joy in my heart,
More than when their grain and new wine are abundant.
8 In peace I will [j]both (U)lie down and sleep,
For You alone, Lord, have me (V)dwell in safety.

1 Answer me(A) when I call to you,
my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;(B)
have mercy(C) on me and hear my prayer.(D)
2 How long will you people turn my glory(E) into shame?(F)
How long will you love delusions and seek false gods[b]?[c](G)
3 Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant(H) for himself;
the Lord hears(I) when I call to him.
4 Tremble and[d] do not sin;(J)
when you are on your beds,(K)
search your hearts and be silent.
5 Offer the sacrifices of the righteous
and trust in the Lord.(L)
