Awit ni David. Isang Maskil.
32 Mapalad(A) siya na pinatawad ang pagsuway,
na ang kasalanan ay tinakpan.
2 Mapalad ang tao na hindi pinaparatangan ng kasamaan ng Panginoon,
at sa kanyang espiritu ay walang pandaraya.
3 Nang hindi ko ipinahayag ang aking kasalanan, nanghina ang aking katawan
sa pamamagitan ng aking pagdaing sa buong araw.
4 Sa araw at gabi ay mabigat sa akin ang iyong kamay,
ang aking lakas ay natuyong gaya ng sa init ng tag-araw. (Selah)
5 Kinilala ko ang aking kasalanan sa iyo,
at hindi ko ikinubli ang aking kasamaan;
aking sinabi, “Ipahahayag ko ang aking paglabag sa Panginoon;”
at iyong ipinatawad ang bigat ng aking kasalanan. (Selah)
6 Kaya't ang bawat isang banal
ay manalangin sa iyo;
sa panahong matatagpuan ka, tunay na sa pagragasa ng malaking tubig,
siya'y hindi nila aabutan.
7 Ikaw ay aking dakong kublihan;
iniingatan mo ako sa kaguluhan;
pinalibutan mo ako ng mga awit ng kaligtasan. (Selah)
8 Aking ipapaalam at ituturo sa iyo ang daan na dapat mong lakaran.
Papayuhan kita na ang aking mga mata ay nakatitig sa iyo.
9 Huwag kayong maging gaya ng kabayo o ng mola na walang unawa,
na ang gayak ay may busal at pamingkaw upang sila'y pigilin
na kung wala ito, sila'y hindi lalapit sa iyo.
10 Marami ang paghihirap ng masasama;
ngunit tapat na pag-ibig ay nakapalibot sa kanya na sa Panginoon ay nagtitiwala.
11 Magsaya kayo sa Panginoon, at magalak kayong matutuwid,
at sumigaw sa kagalakan, kayong lahat na matutuwid sa puso!

32 De David. Cantique. Heureux celui à qui la transgression est remise, A qui le péché est pardonné!
2 Heureux l'homme à qui l'Éternel n'impute pas d'iniquité, Et dans l'esprit duquel il n'y a point de fraude!
3 Tant que je me suis tu, mes os se consumaient, Je gémissais toute la journée;
4 Car nuit et jour ta main s'appesantissait sur moi, Ma vigueur n'était plus que sécheresse, comme celle de l'été. -Pause.
5 Je t'ai fait connaître mon péché, je n'ai pas caché mon iniquité; J'ai dit: J'avouerai mes transgressions à l'Éternel! Et tu as effacé la peine de mon péché. -Pause.
6 Qu'ainsi tout homme pieux te prie au temps convenable! Si de grandes eaux débordent, elles ne l'atteindront nullement.
7 Tu es un asile pour moi, tu me garantis de la détresse, Tu m'entoures de chants de délivrance. -Pause.
8 Je t'instruirai et te montrerai la voie que tu dois suivre; Je te conseillerai, j'aurai le regard sur toi.
9 Ne soyez pas comme un cheval ou un mulet sans intelligence; On les bride avec un frein et un mors, dont on les pare, Afin qu'ils ne s'approchent point de toi.
10 Beaucoup de douleurs sont la part du méchant, Mais celui qui se confie en l'Éternel est environné de sa grâce.
11 Justes, réjouissez-vous en l'Éternel et soyez dans l'allégresse! Poussez des cris de joie, vous tous qui êtes droits de coeur!

Un psalm al lui David. O cântare
1 Ferice de cel cu fărădelegea iertată(A)
şi de cel cu păcatul acoperit!
2 Ferice de omul căruia nu-i ţine în seamă(B) Domnul nelegiuirea
şi în(C) duhul căruia nu este viclenie!
3 Câtă vreme am tăcut, mi se topeau oasele de gemetele mele necurmate.
4 Căci zi şi noapte mâna(D) Ta apăsa asupra mea;
mi se usca vlaga cum se usucă pământul de seceta verii.
5 Atunci Ţi-am mărturisit păcatul meu şi nu mi-am ascuns fărădelegea.
Am zis(E): „Îmi voi mărturisi Domnului fărădelegile!”
Şi Tu ai iertat vina păcatului meu.
6 De(F) aceea, orice om evlavios să se roage(G) Ţie la vreme potrivită!
Şi chiar de s-ar vărsa ape mari, pe el nu-l vor atinge de loc.
7 Tu(H) eşti ocrotirea mea, Tu mă scoţi din necaz,
Tu mă înconjuri cu cântări(I) de izbăvire.
8 „Eu, zice Domnul, te voi învăţa şi-ţi voi arăta calea pe care trebuie s-o urmezi,
te voi sfătui şi voi avea privirea îndreptată asupra ta.”
9 Nu(J) fiţi ca un cal sau ca un catâr fără(K) pricepere,
pe care-l struneşti cu un frâu şi o zăbală cu care-l legi
ca să nu se apropie de tine.
10 De multe(L) dureri are parte cel rău,
dar cel ce(M) se încrede în Domnul este înconjurat cu îndurarea Lui.
11 Neprihăniţilor, bucuraţi-vă(N) în Domnul şi veseliţi-vă!
Scoateţi strigăte de bucurie, toţi cei cu inima fără prihană!

1 Blessed is the one
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.(A)
2 Blessed is the one
whose sin the Lord does not count against them(B)
and in whose spirit is no deceit.(C)
3 When I kept silent,(D)
my bones wasted away(E)
through my groaning(F) all day long.
4 For day and night
your hand was heavy(G) on me;
my strength was sapped(H)
as in the heat of summer.[b]
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.(I)
I said, “I will confess(J)
my transgressions(K) to the Lord.”
And you forgave
the guilt of my sin.(L)
6 Therefore let all the faithful pray to you
while you may be found;(M)
surely the rising(N) of the mighty waters(O)
will not reach them.(P)
7 You are my hiding place;(Q)
you will protect me from trouble(R)
and surround me with songs of deliverance.(S)
8 I will instruct(T) you and teach you(U) in the way you should go;
I will counsel you with my loving eye on(V) you.
9 Do not be like the horse or the mule,
which have no understanding
but must be controlled by bit and bridle(W)
or they will not come to you.
10 Many are the woes of the wicked,(X)
but the Lord’s unfailing love
surrounds the one who trusts(Y) in him.
11 Rejoice in the Lord(Z) and be glad, you righteous;
sing, all you who are upright in heart!
