23 యెహోవా నా కాపరి
నాకు కొరత ఉండదు
2 పచ్చటి పచ్చిక బయళ్లలో ఆయన నన్ను పడుకో పెడతాడు.
ప్రశాంతమైన నీళ్లవద్దకు ఆయన నన్ను నడిపిస్తాడు.
3 ఆయన తన నామ ఘనత కోసం నా ఆత్మకు నూతన బలం ప్రసాదిస్తాడు.
ఆయన నిజంగా మంచివాడని చూపించేందుకు ఆయన నన్ను మంచితనపు మార్గాల్లో నడిపిస్తాడు.
4 చివరికి మరణాంధకారపు లోయలో నడిచినప్పుడు కూడా
నేను భయపడను. ఎందుకంటే, యెహోవా, నీవు నాతో ఉన్నావు.
నీ చేతికర్ర, నీ దండం నన్ను ఆదరిస్తాయి కనుక.
5 యెహోవా, నా శత్రువుల ఎదుటనే నీవు నాకు భోజనం సిద్ధం చేశావు.
నూనెతో నా తలను నీవు అభిషేకిస్తావు.
నా పాత్ర నిండి, పొర్లిపోతుంది.
6 నా మిగిలిన జీవితం అంతా మేలు, కరుణ నాతో ఉంటాయి.

23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
