22 Şi mi-a arătat un râu(A) cu apa vieţii, limpede ca cristalul, care ieşea din scaunul de domnie al lui Dumnezeu şi al Mielului. 2 În(B) mijlocul pieţii cetăţii şi pe cele două maluri ale râului, era pomul(C) vieţii, rodind douăsprezece feluri de rod şi dând rod în fiecare lună; şi frunzele pomului slujesc la(D) vindecarea neamurilor. 3 Nu(E) va mai fi nimic vrednic de blestem acolo. Scaunul(F) de domnie al lui Dumnezeu şi al Mielului vor fi în ea. Robii Lui Îi vor sluji. 4 Ei vor(G) vedea faţa Lui şi(H) Numele Lui va fi pe frunţile lor. 5 Acolo nu va mai fi noapte(I). Şi nu vor mai avea trebuinţă nici de lampă, nici de lumina soarelui, pentru că Domnul(J) Dumnezeu îi va lumina. Şi(K) vor împărăţi în vecii vecilor. 6 Şi îngerul mi-a zis: „Aceste(L) cuvinte sunt vrednice de crezare şi adevărate. Şi Domnul, Dumnezeul duhurilor prorocilor, a(M) trimis pe îngerul Său să arate robilor Săi lucrurile care au să se întâmple în curând”. 7 „Şi iată(N), Eu vin curând![a] Ferice(O) de cel ce păzeşte cuvintele prorociei din cartea aceasta!” 8 Eu, Ioan, am auzit şi am văzut lucrurile acestea. Şi după ce le-am auzit şi le-am văzut, m-am(P) aruncat la picioarele îngerului care mi le arăta, ca să mă închin lui. 9 Dar el mi-a zis: „Fereşte-te(Q) să faci una ca aceasta! Eu sunt un împreună-slujitor cu tine şi cu fraţii tăi, prorocii, şi cu cei ce păzesc cuvintele din cartea aceasta. Închină-te lui Dumnezeu.” 10 Apoi(R) mi-a zis: „Să nu pecetluieşti cuvintele prorociei din cartea(S) aceasta. Căci vremea este aproape. 11 Cine(T) este nedrept să fie nedrept şi mai departe; cine este întinat să se întineze şi mai departe; cine este fără prihană să trăiască şi mai departe fără prihană. Şi cine este sfânt să se sfinţească şi mai departe!” 12 „Iată(U) Eu vin curând şi răsplata(V) Mea este cu Mine, ca să(W) dau fiecăruia după fapta lui. 13 Eu(X) sunt Alfa şi Omega, Cel dintâi şi Cel de pe urmă, Începutul şi Sfârşitul”. 14 Ferice(Y) de cei ce îşi spală hainele, ca să aibă drept la(Z) pomul vieţii şi(AA) să intre pe porţi în cetate! 15 Afară(AB) sunt câinii(AC), vrăjitorii, curvarii, ucigaşii, închinătorii la idoli şi oricine iubeşte minciuna şi trăieşte în minciună! 16 „Eu(AD) , Isus, am trimis pe îngerul Meu să vă adeverească aceste lucruri pentru Biserici. Eu(AE) sunt Rădăcina şi Sămânţa lui David, Luceafărul(AF) strălucitor de dimineaţă”. 17 Şi Duhul şi Mireasa(AG) zic: „Vino!” Şi cine aude să zică: „Vino!” Şi(AH) celui ce îi este sete să vină; cine vrea să ia apa vieţii fără plată! 18 Mărturisesc oricui aude cuvintele prorociei din cartea aceasta că, dacă(AI) va adăuga cineva ceva la ele, Dumnezeu îi va(AJ) adăuga urgiile scrise în cartea(AK) aceasta. 19 Şi, dacă scoate cineva ceva din cuvintele cărţii acestei prorocii, îi va scoate Dumnezeu partea lui de la pomul vieţii şi din cetatea sfântă, scrise în cartea aceasta. 20 Cel ce adevereşte aceste lucruri, zice: „Da(AL), Eu vin curând”. Amin!(AM) Vino(AN), Doamne Isuse! 21 Harul(AO) Domnului Isus Hristos să fie cu voi cu toţi! Amin.

El río de vida
22 Luego el ángel me mostró un río de agua de vida, claro como el cristal, que salía del trono de Dios y del Cordero 2 y corría por el centro de la calle[a] principal de la ciudad. A cada lado del río estaba el árbol de la vida, que produce doce cosechas al año, una por mes; y las hojas del árbol son para la salud de las naciones. 3 Ya no habrá maldición. El trono de Dios y del Cordero estará en la ciudad. Sus siervos lo adorarán; 4 lo verán cara a cara y llevarán su nombre en la frente. 5 Ya no habrá noche; no necesitarán luz de lámpara ni de sol, porque el Señor Dios los alumbrará. Y reinarán por los siglos de los siglos.
6 El ángel me dijo: «Estas palabras son verdaderas y dignas de confianza. El Señor, el Dios que inspira a los profetas,[b] ha enviado a su ángel para mostrar a sus siervos lo que tiene que suceder sin demora».
Cristo viene pronto
7 «¡Miren que vengo pronto! Dichoso el que cumple las palabras del mensaje profético de este libro».
8 Yo, Juan, soy el que vio y oyó todas estas cosas. Y cuando lo vi y oí, me postré para adorar al ángel que me había estado mostrando todo esto. 9 Pero él me dijo: «¡No, cuidado! Soy un siervo como tú, como tus hermanos los profetas y como todos los que cumplen las palabras de este libro. ¡Adora solo a Dios!».
10 También me dijo: «No guardes en secreto las palabras del mensaje profético de este libro, porque el tiempo de su cumplimiento está cerca. 11 Que el malo siga haciendo el mal y que el vil siga envileciéndose; deja que el justo siga practicando la justicia y que el santo siga santificándose».
12 «¡Miren que vengo pronto! Traigo conmigo mi recompensa y le pagaré a cada uno según lo que haya hecho. 13 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el Primero y el Último, el Principio y el Fin.
14 »Dichosos los que lavan sus ropas para tener derecho al árbol de la vida y para poder entrar por las puertas de la ciudad. 15 Pero afuera se quedarán los perros, los que practican las artes mágicas, los que cometen inmoralidades sexuales, los asesinos, los idólatras y todos los que aman y practican la mentira.
16 »Yo, Jesús, he enviado a mi ángel para darles testimonio de estas cosas que conciernen a las iglesias. Yo soy la raíz y la descendencia de David, la brillante estrella de la mañana».
17 El Espíritu y la novia dicen: «¡Ven!»; y el que escuche diga: «¡Ven!». El que tenga sed, venga; y el que quiera, tome gratuitamente del agua de la vida.
18 A todo el que escuche las palabras del mensaje profético de este libro le advierto esto: Si alguno le añade algo, Dios le añadirá a él las plagas descritas en este libro. 19 Y si alguno quita palabras de este libro de profecía, Dios le quitará su parte del árbol de la vida y de la ciudad santa, descritos en este libro.
20 El que da testimonio de estas cosas dice: «Sí, vengo pronto».
Amén. ¡Ven, Señor Jesús!

The River of Life
22 Then the angel[a] showed me (A)the river of (B)the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 through the middle of (C)the street of the city; (D)also, on either side of the river, (E)the tree of life[b] with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were (F)for the healing of the nations. 3 (G)No longer will there be anything accursed, but (H)the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and (I)his servants will worship him. 4 (J)They will see his face, and (K)his name will be on their foreheads. 5 And (L)night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp (M)or sun, for (N)the Lord God will be their light, and (O)they will reign forever and ever.
Jesus Is Coming
6 And he said to me, (P)“These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of (Q)the spirits of the prophets, (R)has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place.”
7 “And behold, (S)I am coming soon. (T)Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
8 I, (U)John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, (V)I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me, 9 (W)but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those (X)who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
10 And he said to me, (Y)“Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 (Z)Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy.”
12 “Behold, (AA)I am coming soon, (AB)bringing my recompense with me, (AC)to repay each one for what he has done. 13 (AD)I am the Alpha and the Omega, (AE)the first and the last, (AF)the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are those who (AG)wash their robes,[c] so that they may have the right to (AH)the tree of life and that (AI)they may enter the city by the gates. 15 (AJ)Outside are (AK)the dogs (AL)and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 (AM)“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things (AN)for the churches. I am (AO)the root and (AP)the descendant of David, (AQ)the bright morning star.”
17 The Spirit and (AR)the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And (AS)let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the (AT)water of life without price.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: (AU)if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in (AV)the tree of life and in (AW)the holy city, which are described in this book.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Surely (AX)I am coming soon.” Amen. (AY)Come, Lord Jesus!
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.[d] Amen.

On each side of the river stood the tree of life,(E) bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. John and the Angel
6 The angel said to me,(N) “These words are trustworthy and true.(O) The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets,(P) sent his angel(Q) to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”
7 “Look, I am coming soon!(R) Blessed(S) is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”(T)
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things.(U) And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet(V) of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll.(W) Worship God!”(X)
10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up(Y) the words of the prophecy of this scroll,(Z) because the time is near.(AA) 11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”(AB)
Epilogue: Invitation and Warning
12 “Look, I am coming soon!(AC) My reward is with me,(AD) and I will give to each person according to what they have done.(AE) 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega,(AF) the First and the Last,(AG) the Beginning and the End.(AH)
14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes,(AI) that they may have the right to the tree of life(AJ) and may go through the gates(AK) into the city.(AL) 15 Outside(AM) are the dogs,(AN) those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus,(AO) have sent my angel(AP) to give you[a] this testimony for the churches.(AQ) I am the Root(AR) and the Offspring of David,(AS) and the bright Morning Star.”(AT)
17 The Spirit(AU) and the bride(AV) say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.(AW)
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll:(AX) If anyone adds anything to them,(AY) God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll.(AZ) 19 And if anyone takes words away(BA) from this scroll of prophecy,(BB) God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life(BC) and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
20 He who testifies to these things(BD) says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”(BE)
