^15 (A)Hate evil, and love good,
    and establish justice ^(B)in the gate;
^(C)it may be that the Lord, the God of hosts,
    will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

^14 (A)Who knows whether he will not turn and relent,
    and ^(B)leave a blessing behind him,
^(C)a grain offering and a drink offering
    for the Lord your God?

⁷ Then ^(A)the remnant of Jacob shall be
    in the midst of many peoples
like dew from the Lord,
    like showers on the grass,
which delay not for a man
    nor wait for the children of man.
⁸ And ^(B)the remnant of Jacob shall be among the nations,
    in the midst of many peoples,
like a lion among the beasts of the forest,
    like a young lion among the flocks of sheep,
^(C)which, when it goes through, treads down
    and tears in pieces, and there is none to deliver.

³ Therefore he shall give them up ^(A)until the time
    when she who is in labor has given birth;
then ^(B)the rest of his brothers shall return
    to the people of Israel.
