11 Thus says Yahweh,
“For three transgressions of (A)Edom and for four
I will not turn back its punishment
Because he (B)pursued his brother with the sword
While he corrupted his compassion;
And his anger also (C)tore continually,
And he kept his wrath forever.
12 So I will send fire upon (D)Teman,
And it will consume the citadels of Bozrah.”
13 Thus says Yahweh,
“For three transgressions of the sons of (E)Ammon and for four
I will not turn back its punishment
Because they (F)ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead
In order to (G)enlarge their borders.

11 This is what the Lord says:
“For three sins of Edom,(A)
even for four, I will not relent.
Because he pursued his brother with a sword(B)
and slaughtered the women of the land,
because his anger raged continually
and his fury flamed unchecked,(C)
12 I will send fire on Teman(D)
that will consume the fortresses of Bozrah.(E)”
13 This is what the Lord says:
