Pablo en Corinto

18 Después de esto Pablo salió de Atenas(A) y fue a Corinto(B). Allí se encontró con un judío que se llamaba Aquila(C), natural del Ponto(D), quien acababa de llegar de Italia(E) con Priscila(F) su mujer, pues el emperador Claudio(G) había ordenado a todos los judíos que salieran de Roma. Pablo fue a verlos, y como él era del mismo oficio, se quedó con ellos y trabajaban(H) juntos, pues el oficio de ellos era hacer tiendas de campaña. Y discutía en la sinagoga(I) todos los días de reposo(J), tratando de persuadir a judíos y a griegos(K).

Cuando Silas y Timoteo(L) llegaron(M) de Macedonia(N), Pablo comenzó a dedicarse por completo a la predicación de la palabra, testificando solemnemente a los judíos(O) que Jesús era el Cristo[a](P).

In Corinth

18 After this, Paul left Athens(A) and went to Corinth.(B) There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla,(C) because Claudius(D) had ordered all Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them, and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them.(E) Every Sabbath(F) he reasoned in the synagogue,(G) trying to persuade Jews and Greeks.

When Silas(H) and Timothy(I) came from Macedonia,(J) Paul devoted himself exclusively to preaching, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah.(K)

Paul Goes to Corinth

18 After that Paul went from the city of Athens and came to the city of Corinth. He met a Jew there named Aquila who was born in the country of Pontus. He had lived in the country of Italy a short time. His wife Priscilla was with him. Claudius, who was the leader of the country, had told all the Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see Aquila and Priscilla. They made tents for a living. Paul did the same kind of work so he stayed with them and they worked together.

Every Day of Rest he would go to the Jewish place of worship and teach both Jews and Greeks. Silas and Timothy came down from the country of Macedonia. Then Paul used all his time preaching to the Jews. He taught that Jesus was the Christ.
