4 Therefore, those (A)who had been scattered went about, (B)proclaiming the good news of the word. 5 (C)Now Philip went down to the city of Samaria and began preaching [a]Christ to them. 6 And the crowds with one accord were giving attention to what was being said by Philip, as they heard and saw the [b]signs which he was doing. 7 For in the case of many who had (D)unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been (E)paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 So there was (F)great joy in that city.

4 Now those who had been scattered went about proclaiming the good news of the word. 5 And Philip came down to the city of Samaria and[a] began proclaiming[b] the Christ[c] to them. 6 And the crowds with one mind were paying attention to what was being said by Philip, as they heard him[d] and saw the signs that he was performing. 7 For many of those who had unclean spirits, they were coming out of them,[e] crying out with a loud voice, and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8 And there was great joy in that city.
