Philip Preaches in Samaria

Therefore, those (A)who had been scattered went about, (B)proclaiming the good news of the word. (C)Now Philip went down to the city of Samaria and began preaching [a]Christ to them. And the crowds with one accord were giving attention to what was being said by Philip, as they heard and saw the [b]signs which he was doing. For in the case of many who had (D)unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been (E)paralyzed and lame were healed. Some Samaritans Become Believers

Now those who were scattered went from place to place preaching the word. Philip went down to the[a] city of Samaria and began to preach the Messiah[b] to the people.[c] The crowds, hearing his message[d] and seeing the signs that he was doing, paid close attention to what was said by Philip. Unclean spirits screamed with a loud voice as they came out of the many people they had possessed, and many paralyzed and lame people were healed. As a result, there was great rejoicing in that city.
