Philip Preaches in Samaria

Therefore, those (A)who had been scattered went about, (B)proclaiming the good news of the word. (C)Now Philip went down to the city of Samaria and began preaching [a]Christ to them. And the crowds with one accord were giving attention to what was being said by Philip, as they heard and saw the [b]signs which he was doing. For in the case of many who had (D)unclean spirits, they were coming out of them shouting with a loud voice; and many who had been (E)paralyzed and lame were healed. Philip in Samaria

Those who had been scattered moved on, preaching the good news along the way. Philip went down to a city in Samaria[a] and began to preach Christ to them. The crowds were united by what they heard Philip say and the signs they saw him perform, and they gave him their undivided attention. With loud shrieks, unclean spirits came out of many people, and many who were paralyzed or crippled were healed. There was great rejoicing in that city.
