²¹ You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for ^(A)your heart is not right before God.

¹³ And ^(A)no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are ^(B)naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

^22 (A)“The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, ^23 (B)but if ^(C)your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!

^24 (D)“No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and ^(E)money.^[a]

¹⁹ and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in ^(A)the tree of life and in ^(B)the holy city, which are described in this book.

How Precious Is Your Steadfast Love

^6 (A)Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such ^(B)the second death has no power, but they will be ^(C)priests of God and of Christ, and they ^(D)will reign with him for a thousand years.
