Eutychus Raised from the Dead

^7 (A)On the first day of the week, when we were gathered together ^(B)to break bread, Paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight.

² On ^(A)the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, ^(B)as he may prosper, ^(C)so that there will be no collecting when I come.

Jesus Appears to the Disciples

^19 (A)On the evening ^(B)of that day, the first day of the week, ^(C)the doors being locked where the disciples were ^(D)for fear of the Jews,^[a] Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, ^(E)“Peace be with you.”

The Fellowship of the Believers

⁴² And ^(A)they devoted themselves to the apostles' ^(B)teaching and the ^(C)fellowship, to ^(D)the breaking of bread and the prayers.

The Resurrection

20 ^(A)Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that ^(B)the stone had been taken away from the tomb.

¹¹ And when Paul had gone up and ^(A)had broken bread and eaten, he conversed with them a long while, until daybreak, and so departed.

²³ When they had appointed a day for him, they came to him at his lodging in greater numbers. From morning till evening ^(A)he expounded to them, testifying to ^(B)the kingdom of God and ^(C)trying to convince them about Jesus ^(D)both from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.

⁹ And a young man named Eutychus, sitting at the window, sank into a deep sleep as Paul talked still longer. And being overcome by sleep, he ^(A)fell down from the third story and was taken up dead.
