³² This Jesus ^(A)God raised up, ^(B)and of that we all are witnesses.

¹⁵ and you killed ^(A)the Author of life, ^(B)whom God raised from the dead. To this we are witnesses.

^24 (A)God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because ^(B)it was not possible for him to be held by it.

⁸ But you will receive ^(A)power ^(B)when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and ^(C)you will be ^(D)my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and ^(E)Samaria, and ^(F)to the end of the earth.”

³³ And with great ^(A)power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and ^(B)great grace was upon them all.

^22 (A)beginning from the baptism of John until the day when ^(B)he was taken up from us—one of these men must become with us ^(C)a witness to his resurrection.”

³⁹ And ^(A)we are witnesses of all that he did both in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. ^(B)They put him to death by hanging him on a tree, ⁴⁰ but ^(C)God raised him on ^(D)the third day and made him to ^(E)appear, ^41 (F)not to all the people but to us who had been chosen by God as ^(G)witnesses, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

³¹ God exalted ^(A)him at his right hand as ^(B)Leader and ^(C)Savior, ^(D)to give ^(E)repentance to Israel and ^(F)forgiveness of sins. ³² And ^(G)we are witnesses to these things, and ^(H)so is the Holy Spirit, ^(I)whom God has given to those who obey him.”

²⁶ Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. ^(A)Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ^(B)“Peace be with you.” ²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, ^(C)“Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” ²⁸ Thomas answered him, ^(D)“My Lord and my God!” ²⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? ^(E)Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

The Purpose of This Book

^30 (F)Now Jesus did many other signs ^(G)in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; ^31 (H)but these are written so that you may ^(I)believe that Jesus is the Christ, ^(J)the Son of God, and that by believing ^(K)you may have life ^(L)in his name.
