20 (A)the sun shall be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood,
before (B)the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day.
21 And it shall come to pass that (C)everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’
22 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, (D)a man attested to you by God (E)with (F)mighty works and wonders and signs that (G)God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know— 23 this Jesus,[a] (H)delivered up according to (I)the definite plan and (J)foreknowledge of God, (K)you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men. 24 (L)God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because (M)it was not possible for him to be held by it. 25 For David says concerning him,
(N)“‘I saw the Lord always before me,
for he is at my right hand that I may not be shaken;
26 therefore my heart was glad, and my tongue rejoiced;
my flesh also will dwell (O)in hope.
27 For you will not abandon my soul to (P)Hades,
(Q)or let your (R)Holy One (S)see corruption.
28 You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

20 ὁ ἥλιος μεταστραφήσεται εἰς σκότος καὶ ἡ σελήνη εἰς αἷμα πρὶν [a]ἢ [b]ἐλθεῖν ἡμέραν κυρίου τὴν μεγάλην καὶ ἐπιφανῆ. 21 καὶ ἔσται πᾶς ὃς [c]ἐὰν ἐπικαλέσηται τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου σωθήσεται.
22 Ἄνδρες Ἰσραηλῖται, ἀκούσατε τοὺς λόγους τούτους. Ἰησοῦν τὸν Ναζωραῖον, ἄνδρα [d]ἀποδεδειγμένον ἀπὸ τοῦ θεοῦ εἰς ὑμᾶς δυνάμεσι καὶ τέρασι καὶ σημείοις οἷς ἐποίησεν δι’ αὐτοῦ ὁ θεὸς ἐν μέσῳ ὑμῶν, [e]καθὼς αὐτοὶ οἴδατε, 23 τοῦτον τῇ ὡρισμένῃ βουλῇ καὶ προγνώσει τοῦ θεοῦ [f]ἔκδοτον διὰ [g]χειρὸς ἀνόμων προσπήξαντες ἀνείλατε, 24 ὃν ὁ θεὸς ἀνέστησεν λύσας τὰς ὠδῖνας τοῦ θανάτου, καθότι οὐκ ἦν δυνατὸν κρατεῖσθαι αὐτὸν ὑπ’ αὐτοῦ· 25 Δαυὶδ γὰρ λέγει εἰς αὐτόν· Προορώμην τὸν κύριον ἐνώπιόν μου διὰ παντός, ὅτι ἐκ δεξιῶν μού ἐστιν ἵνα μὴ σαλευθῶ. 26 διὰ τοῦτο ηὐφράνθη [h]ἡ καρδία μου καὶ ἠγαλλιάσατο ἡ γλῶσσά μου, ἔτι δὲ καὶ ἡ σάρξ μου κατασκηνώσει ἐπ’ ἐλπίδι· 27 ὅτι οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψεις τὴν ψυχήν μου εἰς [i]ᾅδην, οὐδὲ δώσεις τὸν ὅσιόν σου ἰδεῖν διαφθοράν. 28 ἐγνώρισάς μοι ὁδοὺς ζωῆς, πληρώσεις με εὐφροσύνης μετὰ τοῦ προσώπου σου.

New International Version
20 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood(A)
before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
21 And everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord(B) will be saved.’[a](C)
22 “Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth(D) was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs,(E) which God did among you through him,(F) as you yourselves know. 23 This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge;(G) and you, with the help of wicked men,[b] put him to death by nailing him to the cross.(H) 24 But God raised him from the dead,(I) freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.(J) 25 David said about him:
“‘I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
26 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will rest in hope,
27 because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead,
you will not let your holy one see decay.(K)
28 You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.’[c](L)
