In Berea
10 As soon as it was night, the believers sent Paul and Silas(A) away to Berea.(B) On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue.(C) 11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica,(D) for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures(E) every day to see if what Paul said was true.(F) 12 As a result, many of them believed, as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.(G)

10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.

10 Pagsapit ng gabi ay agad pinaalis ng mga kapatid sina Pablo at Silas patungo sa Berea. Pagdating doon ay pumasok sila sa sinagoga ng mga Judio. 11 Higit na mararangal ang mga tao roon kaysa mga taga-Tesalonica. Tinanggap nila ang salita nang buong pananabik at sinisiyasat araw-araw ang mga Kasulatan kung tunay nga ang ipinapangaral sa kanila. 12 Kaya marami sa kanila ang sumampalataya, kabilang ang marami-raming Griyego—mga babae at mga lalaking ginagalang sa lipunan.
