Acts 15:35-41

35 But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, and there, with many others, they taught and proclaimed the word of the Lord.
Paul and Barnabas Separate
36 After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Come, let us return and visit the believers[a] in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord and see how they are doing.” 37 Barnabas wanted to take with them John called Mark. 38 But Paul decided not to take with them one who had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not accompanied them in the work. 39 The disagreement became so sharp that they parted company; Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus. 40 But Paul chose Silas and set out, the believers[b] commending him to the grace of the Lord. 41 He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.

36 (A)Dopo diversi giorni Paolo disse a Barnaba: «Ritorniamo ora a visitare i [nostri] fratelli di tutte le città in cui abbiamo annunciato la Parola del Signore, per vedere come stanno». 37 Barnaba voleva prendere con loro anche[a] Giovanni detto Marco. 38 Ma Paolo riteneva che non dovessero prendere uno che si era separato da loro già in Panfilia e che non li aveva accompagnati nella loro opera. 39 Nacque [allora] un aspro dissenso, al punto che si separarono; Barnaba prese con sé Marco e s’imbarcò per Cipro.
40 Paolo, invece, scelse Sila e partì, raccomandato dai fratelli alla grazia del Signore[b].
41 E percorse la Siria e la Cilicia, rafforzando le chiese.

36 Nach etlichen Tagen aber sprach Paulus zu Barnabas: Lass uns wieder umkehren und in all den Städten, in denen wir das Wort des Herrn verkündigt haben, nach unseren Brüdern sehen, wie es um sie steht!
37 Barnabas aber riet dazu, den Johannes, der Markus genannt wird, mitzunehmen.
38 Paulus jedoch hielt es für richtig, dass der, welcher in Pamphylien von ihnen weggegangen und nicht mit ihnen zu dem Werk gekommen war, nicht mitgenommen werden sollte.
39 Deshalb entstand eine heftige Auseinandersetzung, sodass sie sich voneinander trennten; und Barnabas nahm Markus zu sich und fuhr mit dem Schiff nach Zypern.
40 Paulus aber wählte sich Silas und zog aus, von den Brüdern der Gnade Gottes anbefohlen.
41 Und er durchzog Syrien und Cilicien und stärkte die Gemeinden.

36 Néhány nap múlva pedig ezt mondta Pál Barnabásnak: "Térjünk vissza, látogassuk meg a testvéreket valamennyi városban, ahol hirdettük az Úr igéjét, és lássuk: hogy megy a soruk?"
37 Barnabás azt akarta, hogy vigyék magukkal Jánost is, akit Márknak hívtak.
38 Pál azonban úgy tartotta helyesnek, hogy ne vigyék magukkal azt, aki elvált tőlük Pamfíliánál, és nem ment velük együtt a munkába.

36 Après quelque temps, Paul dit à Barnabas : Partons refaire le tour de toutes les villes où nous avons annoncé la Parole du Seigneur et rendons visite aux frères pour voir ce qu’ils deviennent.
37 Mais Barnabas voulait emmener avec lui Jean, appelé aussi Marc, 38 et Paul estimait qu’il ne convenait pas de prendre avec eux celui qui les avait abandonnés en Pamphylie et qui ne les avait pas accompagnés dans leur œuvre.
39 Leur désaccord fut si profond qu’ils se séparèrent. Barnabas emmena Marc avec lui et s’embarqua pour Chypre. 40 Paul, de son côté, choisit Silas et partit avec lui, après avoir été confié par les frères à la grâce du Seigneur.
41 Il parcourut la Syrie et la Cilicie en fortifiant les Eglises.

27 My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father’s hand.[a] 30 The Father and I are one.”
31 The Jews took up stones again to stone him. 32 Jesus replied, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these are you going to stone me?” 33 The Jews answered, “It is not for a good work that we are going to stone you, but for blasphemy, because you, though only a human being, are making yourself God.” 34 Jesus answered, “Is it not written in your law,[b] ‘I said, you are gods’? 35 If those to whom the word of God came were called ‘gods’—and the scripture cannot be annulled— 36 can you say that the one whom the Father has sanctified and sent into the world is blaspheming because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? 37 If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me. 38 But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand[c] that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”

31 Cette fois encore, ils ramassèrent des pierres pour le lapider.
32 Alors Jésus leur dit : J’ai accompli sous vos yeux un grand nombre d’œuvres bonnes par la puissance du Père ; pour laquelle voulez-vous me lapider ?
33 Les Juifs répliquèrent : Nous ne voulons pas te lapider pour une bonne action, mais parce que tu blasphèmes. Car, toi qui n’es qu’un homme, tu te fais passer pour Dieu.
34 Jésus répondit : N’est-il pas écrit dans votre propre Loi :
Moi, je vous avais dit :
Vous êtes des dieux[a] ?
35 Or, on ne saurait contester le témoignage de l’Ecriture. Si donc votre Loi appelle « dieux » ceux auxquels s’adresse la Parole de Dieu, 36 comment pouvez-vous m’accuser de blasphème parce que j’ai dit : « Je suis le Fils de Dieu », quand c’est le Père qui m’a consacré et envoyé dans le monde ?
37 Si je n’accomplis pas les œuvres de mon Père, vous n’avez pas besoin de croire en moi. 38 Mais si, au contraire, je les accomplis, même si vous ne voulez pas me croire, laissez-vous au moins convaincre par mes œuvres, pour que vous reconnaissiez et que vous compreniez que le Père est en moi et que je suis dans le Père.
