8 At Lystra a man was sitting. He was not able to walk because he had no strength in his feet. He had never walked since he was born.
9 This man heard Paul speak. Paul looked at the man. He saw that the man believed he would be healed.
10 Paul said, `Stand up on your feet!' The man jumped up and walked.

8 In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way from birth(A) and had never walked. 9 He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed(B) 10 and called out, “Stand up on your feet!”(C) At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.(D)

8 In Lystra [v. 6] there sat a man who had been ·born crippled [L lame from the womb of his mother]; he had never walked. 9 As this man was listening to Paul speak, Paul looked straight at him and saw that he ·believed [had faith that] God could heal him. 10 So he ·cried out [L said with a loud voice], “Stand up on your feet!” The man jumped up and began walking around.
