⁵ When an attempt was made by both Gentiles and Jews, with their rulers, ^(A)to mistreat them and ^(B)to stone them,

^19 (A)But Jews came from Antioch and Iconium, and having persuaded the crowds, ^(B)they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.

¹¹ my persecutions and sufferings that happened to me ^(A)at Antioch, ^(B)at Iconium, and ^(C)at Lystra—which persecutions I endured; yet ^(D)from them all ^(E)the Lord rescued me.

^5 (A)But the Jews^{[a] (B)}were jealous, and taking ^(C)some wicked men of the rabble, they formed a mob, set the city in an uproar, and attacked the house of Jason, seeking to bring them out to the crowd.

²⁵ who through the mouth of our father David, your servant,^[a] said by the Holy Spirit,

²⁷ for truly in this city there were gathered together against your ^(D)holy servant Jesus, ^(E)whom you anointed, both ^(F)Herod and ^(G)Pontius Pilate, along ^(H)with the Gentiles and ^(I)the peoples of Israel, ^28 (J)to do whatever your hand and ^(K)your plan had predestined to take place. ²⁹ And now, Lord, ^(L)look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all ^(M)boldness,

^28 (A)bless those who curse you, ^(B)pray for those who abuse you.

⁴⁴ But I say to you, ^(A)Love your enemies and ^(B)pray for those who persecute you,
