^14 (A)he will declare to you a message by which ^(B)you will be saved, you and all your household.’

¹⁵ And after she was baptized, ^(A)and her household as well, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she ^(B)prevailed upon us.

²² And they said, “Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and ^(A)God-fearing man, who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by ^(B)a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and ^(C)to hear what you have to say.”

^9 (A)If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, for this is the testimony of God ^(B)that he has borne concerning his Son. ¹⁰ Whoever believes in the Son of God ^(C)has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God ^(D)has made him a liar, ^(E)because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son. ¹¹ And this is the testimony, that God gave us ^(F)eternal life, and ^(G)this life is in his Son. ^12 (H)Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

That You May Know

¹³ I write ^(I)these things to you who ^(J)believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.

³¹ And they said, ^(A)“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you ^(B)and your household.” ³² And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. ³³ And he took them ^(C)the same hour of the night and washed their wounds; and he ^(D)was baptized at once, he and all his family. ³⁴ Then he brought them up into his house and set food before them. And he ^(E)rejoiced along with his entire household that he had believed in God.

³² Send therefore to Joppa and ask for Simon who is called Peter. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea.’ ³³ So I sent for you at once, and you have been kind enough to come. Now therefore we are all here in the presence of God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.”
