^43 (A)To him ^(B)all the prophets bear witness that ^(C)everyone who believes in him receives ^(D)forgiveness of sins ^(E)through his name.”

13 ^(A)“On that day there shall be ^(B)a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness.

³⁸ And Peter said to them, ^(A)“Repent and ^(B)be baptized every one of you ^(C)in the name of Jesus Christ ^(D)for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive ^(E)the gift of the Holy Spirit.

³⁴ And no longer shall each one teach his neighbor and each his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ ^(A)for they shall all know me, ^(B)from the least of them to the greatest, declares the Lord. For ^(C)I will forgive their iniquity, and ^(D)I will remember their sin no more.”

¹¹ For the Scripture says, ^(A)“Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

³⁸ Let it be known to you therefore, brothers, ^(A)that through this man ^(B)forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, ³⁹ and by him ^(C)everyone who believes is freed^[a] from everything ^(D)from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.

¹⁴ And ^(A)as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man ^(B)be lifted up, ¹⁵ that whoever believes ^(C)in him ^(D)may have eternal life.^[a]

For God So Loved the World

¹⁶ “For ^(E)God so loved ^(F)the world,^{[b] (G)}that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not ^(H)perish but have eternal life. ¹⁷ For ^(I)God did not send his Son into the world ^(J)to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

¹¹ inquiring ^(A)what person or time^{[a] (B)}the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating ^(C)when he predicted ^(D)the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories.
