²⁰ Rise and go down and ^(A)accompany them without hesitation,^[a] for I have sent them.”

⁷ And after there had been much ^(A)debate, Peter stood up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, ^(B)that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear ^(C)the word of ^(D)the gospel and believe. ⁸ And God, ^(E)who knows the heart, ^(F)bore witness to them, ^(G)by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, ⁹ and ^(H)he made no distinction between us and them, ^(I)having cleansed their hearts ^(J)by faith.

⁹ “Behold, ^(A)I will shake my hand over them, ^(B)and they shall become plunder for those who served them. Then ^(C)you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me. ^10 (D)Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for ^(E)behold, I come ^(F)and I will dwell in your midst, declares the Lord. ^11 (G)And many nations shall join themselves to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people. ^(H)And I will dwell in your midst, and ^(I)you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.

Barnabas and Saul on Cyprus

⁴ So, being sent out ^(A)by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia, and from there they sailed to Cyprus.

¹⁷ So ^(A)Ananias departed and entered the house. And ^(B)laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and ^(C)be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him, “Go, for ^(A)he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name ^(B)before the Gentiles and ^(C)kings and the children of Israel.

Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch

²⁶ Now ^(A)an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Rise and go toward the south^[a] to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is a desert place.

¹⁵ And he said to them, ^(A)“Go into all the world and ^(B)proclaim the gospel to ^(C)the whole creation.
