^3 (A)He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.

⁵ and that ^(A)he appeared to Cephas, then ^(B)to the twelve. ⁶ Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep. ⁷ Then he appeared to ^(C)James, then ^(D)to all the apostles.

³¹ and for many days ^(A)he appeared to those ^(B)who had come up with him ^(C)from Galilee to Jerusalem, ^(D)who are now ^(E)his witnesses to the people.

²⁶ Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. ^(A)Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ^(B)“Peace be with you.”

The Word of Life

1 ^(A)That which was ^(B)from the beginning, ^(C)which we have heard, ^(D)which we have seen with our eyes, ^(E)which we looked upon and ^(F)have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—

^14 (A)This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.

Jesus Appears to Seven Disciples

21 After this Jesus ^(A)revealed himself ^(B)again to the disciples by ^(C)the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way.

⁹ And behold, Jesus ^(A)met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and ^(B)took hold of his feet and ^(C)worshiped him.

^31 (A)proclaiming ^(B)the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ ^(C)with all boldness and ^(D)without hindrance.
