³⁶ “Therefore let the entire house of Israel know with certainty that God has made him both Lord and Messiah,^[a] this Jesus whom you crucified.”

⁸ If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord; so then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. ⁹ For to this end Christ died and lived again, so that he might be Lord of both the dead and the living.^(A)

¹⁰ Why do you pass judgment on your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God.^{[a](B) 11} For it is written,

¹² So then, each one of us will be held accountable.^[c](D)

¹⁰ For all of us must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may receive due recompense for actions done in the body, whether good or evil.^(A)

³⁰ The God of our ancestors raised up Jesus, whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree.^{(A) 31} God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior that he might give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.^(B)

⁷ and to give relief to the afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels^{(A) 8} in a fiery flame, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.^{(B) 9} These will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, separated from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,^{(C) 10} when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at on that day among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.
