The Macedonian Vision

⁶ And they passed through the ^[a](A)Phrygian and ^(B)Galatian region, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in ^[b](C)Asia;

²² And having sent into ^(A)Macedonia two of ^(B)those who ministered to him, ^(C)Timothy and ^(D)Erastus, he himself stayed in ^[a](E)Asia for a while.

²⁶ And you see and hear that not only in ^(A)Ephesus, but in almost all of ^(B)Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away a considerable crowd, saying that ^(C)things made with hands are not gods. ²⁷ And not only is there danger that this trade of ours fall into disrepute, but also that the temple of the great goddess ^[a]Artemis be considered as worthless and that she, whom all of ^(D)Asia and ^(E)the ^[b]world worship, is even about to be brought down from her majesty.”
