Mose välsignar alla stammarna
33 Detta är den välsignelse som gudsmannen Mose gav Israels folk innan han dog:
2 ”Herren kom från Sinai,
hans sken gick upp från Seir.
Han strålade från Parans berg,
från söder kom han omgiven av mångtusen heliga,
från bergssluttningar kom han i en eld.[a]
3 Du älskar ditt folk.
De heliga är i dina händer.
De böjer sig ned vid dina fötter.
De tar råd av dig och följer din undervisning[b],
4 lagen som de fick av Mose,
Jakobs församlings egendom.
5 Han blev kung över Jeshurun[c],
när ledarna för folket samlades,[d]
alla Israels stammar.
6 Må Ruben leva och inte dö,
och hans män ska bli många.”
7 Om Juda sa han:
”Herre, hör Judas rop
och förena honom med hans folk!
Med egna händer kämpar han för sin sak.
Hjälp honom mot hans fiender!”
8 Om Levi sa han:
”Dina tummim och urim[e] tillhör din fromme[f] Levi.
Du prövade honom i Massa
och utmanade vid Merivas källor.[g]
9 Han sa om sin far och mor:
’Jag ser dem inte’,
och ville inte kännas vid sina bröder,
ej heller sina barn.
Men de tog vara på ditt ord
och höll fast vid ditt förbund.[h]
10 De lär Jakob dina föreskrifter
och undervisar Israel i din lag,
offrar rökelse inför dig
och brännofferdjur på ditt altare.
11 Herre, välsigna hans kraft
och låt hans tjänst behaga dig!
Krossa hans fiender och låt dem inte resa sig igen!”
12 Om Benjamin sa han:
”Den som är älskad av Herren
ska bo i trygghet hos honom.
Herren ska alltid bevara honom
och låta honom bo mellan hans höjder.”
13 Om Josef[i] sa han:
”Hans område ska vara välsignat av Herren
med dyrbar dagg från himlen
och med vatten från djupen,
14 med det bästa som mognar under solen,
rik växtlighet månad efter månad,
15 med de bästa skördarna från de uråldriga bergen
och dyrbarheter från de eviga höjderna,
16 med de bästa gåvorna från jorden och dess härlighet
och med nåd från honom som var i törnbusken.
Låt allt detta komma över Josef,
över hjässan på honom som är fursten bland bröderna.
17 Han är praktfull som en förstfödd tjur
och hans horn är som en vildoxes.
Med dem ska han stånga folken, var de än finns på jorden.
Sådana är Efraims tiotusenden och Manasses tusenden.”
18 Om Sebulon sa han:
”Gläd dig, Sebulon, när du går ut,
och du, Isaskar, i dina tält!
19 De sammankallar folket på berget
och offrar rättfärdiga offer.
De njuter av havets rikedomar
och skatterna som finns gömda i sanden.”
20 Om Gad sa han:
”Välsignad är den som utvidgar Gads område.
Gad är ett lejon
som hugger efter arm och huvud.
21 Han väljer det bästa av landet åt sig själv,
den del som passar en härskare.
När stammarnas ledare samlades
dömde han enligt Herrens rättfärdiga vilja
och fällde hans domar i Israel.”
22 Om Dan sa han:
”Dan är ett ungt lejon
som rusar ner från Bashan.”
23 Om Naftali sa han:
”Naftali får nåd och välsignelser i överflöd av Herren.
Söderut mot sjön sträcker sig hans område.”
24 Om Asher sa han:
”Asher är den mest välsignade av sönerna,
uppskattad av sina bröder.
Han badar sina fötter i olja.
25 Dina portar ska skyddas med reglar av järn och koppar
och din styrka ska bestå så länge dina dagar varar.”
26 ”Det finns ingen Gud lik Jeshuruns[j].
Han rider över himlen majestätiskt,
på moln för att hjälpa dig.
27 Den evige Guden är en tillflykt
och här nere råder hans eviga armar.
Han fördriver dina fiender
och ropar: ’Förgör dem!’
28 Därför bor Israel i trygghet,
Jakobs källa är i säkerhet
i ett land med säd och vin,
med dagg från himlen.
29 Lycklig är du, Israel!
Vem är dig lik?
Du är ett folk som har sin räddning i Herren.
Han är din sköld och din hjälpare,
ditt ärorika svärd!
Dina fiender ska krypa för dig,
och du ska trampa ner deras höjder[k].”

33 Detta är den välsignelse som gudsmannen Mose gav Israels folk innan han dog:
2 Herren kom till oss vid berget Sinai, och hans sken gick upp från berget Seir.Han strålade från Parans berg, från söder kom han, omgiven av tiotusen änglar.
3 Visst älskar du ditt folk. De heliga är i dina händer. De böjer sig för dina fötter. De tar råd av dig och följer dina lagar,
4 som gavs dem av Mose, lagarna som är hela folkets egendom.
5 Herren blev kung i Jerusalem, vald av ledarna för stammarna!
6 Ruben ska leva för evigt, och hans stam förökas!
7 Herre, hör Judas rop och förena honom med hans folk. För egen hand bekämpar han sina fiender. Hjälp honom i striden.
8 Dina tummim och dina urim tillhör Levi. Du prövade honom i Massa och vid Meriba.
9 Han lydde dina befallningar och utplånade många syndare, till och med sina egna barn, bröder, fäder och mödrar, för han höll fast vid ditt förbund.
10 Levi ska undervisa Israel i Guds lagar och göra tjänst vid ditt rökelsealtare och brännofferaltare.
11 Herre, välsigna honom och låt hans tjänst behaga dig. Krossa hans fiender och låt dem inte resa sig igen.
12 Benjamin är älskad av Gud och ska bo i trygghet hos honom. Gud ska bevara honom med sin kärleksfulla omsorg och beskydda honom från varje fara.
13 Josefs område ska vara välsignat av Gud med dyrbar dagg från himlen och med vatten från djupen.
14 Han ska bli välsignad med det bästa som solen kan ge, rik växtlighet månad efter månad,
15 med de bästa av skördar från bergen och de eviga höjderna.
16 Han ska bli välsignad med de bästa gåvorna från jorden och dess härlighet, och med nåd från honom som uppenbarade sig i en brinnande buske.Låt alla dessa välsignelser komma över Josef, fursten bland sina bröder.
17 Han är kraftfull som en förstfödd tjur, och han har starka horn som en vildoxe. Med dem ska han stånga folken, var de än finns på jorden.
18 Gläd dig, Sebulon, när du går ut. Gläd dig, Isaskar, när du får vara hemma i dina tält!
19 Ni ska sammankalla folket på berget och fira offerfest tillsammans. Ni ska njuta av havets rikedomar och skatterna som finns gömda i sanden.
20 Välsignad är den som utvidgar Gads område. Gad är ett lejon som hugger efter arm och huvud.
21 Han väljer det bästa av landet åt sig själv, en ledares andel avsätts för hans räkning. Han anför folket i kampen om landet.
22 Dan är som ett ungt lejon som rusar ner från Basan.
23 Naftali, du får i överflöd av Herren. Söderut mot sjön sträcker sig ditt område.
24 Aser är ögonstenen bland sönerna, uppskattad av sina bröder. Han badar sina fötter i ljuvlig olja.
25 Dina städer ska skyddas med portar av järn och koppar, och din styrka ska bestå så länge dina dagar varar!
26 Det finns ingen Gud lik din, Israel. Han stiger ner från himlen i majestätisk härlighet för att hjälpa dig.
27 Den evige Guden är din tillflykt, och här nere råder han med väldig kraft.Han fördriver dina fiender. Det är han som ropar: 'Förgör dem!'
28 Därför bor Israel i trygghet. Jakobs brunn ligger säkert i ett land med säd och vin, med ljuvligt regn och dagg från himlen.
29 Välsignad är du, Israel! Vilken annan har blivit räddad av Herren? Han är din sköld och din hjälpare! Han är ditt ärorika svärd! Dina fiender ska böja sig för dig, och du ska sätta din fot på deras rygg!

2 (B)Каза:
Господ дойде от Синай
и им се яви от Сиир;
осия от планината Фаран
и дойде с десетки хиляди светии;
от десницата Му излезе огнен закон за тях.
3 (C)Той възлюби племената;
всичките Му светии са в ръцете Ти;
и седяха при краката ти,
за да приемат думите ти.
4 (D)Моисей ни даде закон,
наследство на Якововото общество.
5 (E)И той беше цар в Йесурун,
когато първенците на народа се събраха,

6 Да е жив Рувим и да не умре;

Послушай, Господи, гласа на Юда
и го доведи при народа му;

и Израил – на Твоя закон.
Ще сложат тамян пред Теб
и всеизгаряния на жертвеника Ти.
11 (J)Благослови, Господи, притежанията му
и бъди благосклонен към делата на ръцете му;
порази чреслата на онези, които въстават против него,
и на онези, които го мразят, за да не станат вече.
12 За Вениамин каза:
Възлюбеният от Господа ще живее безопасно при Него;
Той ще го закриля всеки ден
и Вениамин ще почива между рамената Му.
13 (K)И за Йосиф каза:
Благословена да бъде от Господа земята му
със скъпоценни небесни дарове,
с роса и с дарове от лежащата долу бездна,
14 със скъпоценни плодове от слънцето
и със скъпоценни произведения от месеците,
15 (L)с изрядни неща от старите планини,
със скъпоценни неща от вечните гори,
16 (M)със скъпоценни неща от земята и всичко, което има в нея.
Благоволението на Онзи, Който се яви в бодливия храст,
да слезе върху главата на Йосиф
и върху онзи, който се отдели от братята си.
17 (N)Великолепието му е като на първородното му теле
и роговете му – като роговете на див вол;
с тях ще избоде племената до краищата на земята;
те са десетки хиляди от Ефрем
и те са хиляди от Манасия.
18 (O)И за Завулон каза:
Весели се, Завулоне, в излизането си
и ти, Исахаре, в шатрите си.
19 (P)Ще свикат племената на планината;
там ще принасят жертва с правда;
защото ще черпят[a] от изобилието на морето
и от съкровищата, скрити в крайморския пясък.
20 (Q)И за Гад каза:
Благословен да бъде онзи, който разширява Гад.
Той се излежава като лъвица и откъсва ръце и глава.
21 (R)Промисли за себе си първия дял,
защото там се узна делът на управителя;
а дойде с първенците на народа
и извърши правдата на Господа
и Неговите отсъждания за Израил.
22 (S)И за Дан каза:
Дан е млад лъв,
който скача от Васан.
23 (T)И за Нефталим каза:
О, Нефталиме, наситен с благоволение
и изпълнен с благословение от Господа,
завладей ти запад и юг.

Благословен да е със синове Асир;
нека бъде благоугоден на братята си
и да натопи крака си в елей.
25 (V)Желязо и мед да бъдат обувките ти
и силата ти да бъде според дните ти.
26 (W)Няма подобен на Йесуруновия Бог,
който за помощ на тебе се носи на небесата
и на облаците във великолепието Си.
27 (X)Вечният Бог е твое убежище;
и подпора са ти вечните Му мишци;
ще изгони неприятеля пред теб и ще каже: Изтребвай го!
28 (Y)Тогава Израил ще се засели сам в безопасност.
Източникът Яковов ще бъде в земя,
богата с жито и с вино;
и небесата му ще капят роса.
29 (Z)Блажен си ти, Израилю!

Moses Blesses the Tribes(A)
33 This is the blessing(B) that Moses the man of God(C) pronounced on the Israelites before his death. 2 He said:
“The Lord came from Sinai(D)
and dawned over them from Seir;(E)
he shone forth(F) from Mount Paran.(G)
He came with[a] myriads of holy ones(H)
from the south, from his mountain slopes.[b]
3 Surely it is you who love(I) the people;
all the holy ones are in your hand.(J)
At your feet they all bow down,(K)
and from you receive instruction,
4 the law that Moses gave us,(L)
the possession of the assembly of Jacob.(M)
5 He was king(N) over Jeshurun[c](O)
when the leaders of the people assembled,
along with the tribes of Israel.
7 And this he said about Judah:(Q)
“Hear, Lord, the cry of Judah;
bring him to his people.
With his own hands he defends his cause.
Oh, be his help against his foes!”
8 About Levi(R) he said:
“Your Thummim and Urim(S) belong
to your faithful servant.(T)
You tested(U) him at Massah;
you contended with him at the waters of Meribah.(V)
9 He said of his father and mother,(W)
‘I have no regard for them.’
He did not recognize his brothers
or acknowledge his own children,
but he watched over your word
and guarded your covenant.(X)
10 He teaches(Y) your precepts to Jacob
and your law to Israel.(Z)
He offers incense before you(AA)
and whole burnt offerings on your altar.(AB)
11 Bless all his skills, Lord,
and be pleased with the work of his hands.(AC)
Strike down those who rise against him,
his foes till they rise no more.”
12 About Benjamin(AD) he said:
“Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him,(AE)
for he shields him all day long,(AF)
and the one the Lord loves(AG) rests between his shoulders.(AH)”
13 About Joseph(AI) he said:
“May the Lord bless his land
with the precious dew from heaven above
and with the deep waters that lie below;(AJ)
14 with the best the sun brings forth
and the finest the moon can yield;
15 with the choicest gifts of the ancient mountains(AK)
and the fruitfulness of the everlasting hills;
16 with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness
and the favor of him who dwelt in the burning bush.(AL)
Let all these rest on the head of Joseph,
on the brow of the prince among[e] his brothers.(AM)
17 In majesty he is like a firstborn bull;
his horns(AN) are the horns of a wild ox.(AO)
With them he will gore(AP) the nations,
even those at the ends of the earth.
Such are the ten thousands of Ephraim;(AQ)
such are the thousands of Manasseh.(AR)”
18 About Zebulun(AS) he said:
“Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out,
and you, Issachar,(AT) in your tents.
19 They will summon peoples to the mountain(AU)
and there offer the sacrifices of the righteous;(AV)
they will feast on the abundance of the seas,(AW)
on the treasures hidden in the sand.”
20 About Gad(AX) he said:
“Blessed is he who enlarges Gad’s domain!(AY)
Gad lives there like a lion,
tearing at arm or head.
21 He chose the best land for himself;(AZ)
the leader’s portion was kept for him.(BA)
When the heads of the people assembled,
he carried out the Lord’s righteous will,(BB)
and his judgments concerning Israel.”
22 About Dan(BC) he said:
“Dan is a lion’s cub,
springing out of Bashan.”
23 About Naphtali(BD) he said:
“Naphtali is abounding with the favor of the Lord
and is full of his blessing;
he will inherit southward to the lake.”
24 About Asher(BE) he said:
“Most blessed of sons is Asher;
let him be favored by his brothers,
and let him bathe his feet in oil.(BF)
25 The bolts of your gates will be iron and bronze,(BG)
and your strength will equal your days.(BH)
26 “There is no one like the God of Jeshurun,(BI)
who rides(BJ) across the heavens to help you(BK)
and on the clouds(BL) in his majesty.(BM)
27 The eternal(BN) God is your refuge,(BO)
and underneath are the everlasting(BP) arms.
He will drive out your enemies before you,(BQ)
saying, ‘Destroy them!’(BR)
28 So Israel will live in safety;(BS)
Jacob will dwell[f] secure
in a land of grain and new wine,
where the heavens drop dew.(BT)
29 Blessed are you, Israel!(BU)
Who is like you,(BV)
a people saved by the Lord?(BW)
He is your shield and helper(BX)
and your glorious sword.
Your enemies will cower before you,
and you will tread on their heights.(BY)”

33 And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2 And he said, The Lord came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of saints: from his right hand went a fiery law for them.
3 Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.
4 Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.
5 And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.
6 Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.
7 And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, Lord, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.
8 And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;
9 Who said unto his father and to his mother, I have not seen him; neither did he acknowledge his brethren, nor knew his own children: for they have observed thy word, and kept thy covenant.
10 They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.
11 Bless, Lord, his substance, and accept the work of his hands; smite through the loins of them that rise against him, and of them that hate him, that they rise not again.
12 And of Benjamin he said, The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him; and the Lord shall cover him all the day long, and he shall dwell between his shoulders.
13 And of Joseph he said, Blessed of the Lord be his land, for the precious things of heaven, for the dew, and for the deep that coucheth beneath,
14 And for the precious fruits brought forth by the sun, and for the precious things put forth by the moon,
15 And for the chief things of the ancient mountains, and for the precious things of the lasting hills,
16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh.
18 And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.
19 They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.
20 And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.
21 And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the Lord, and his judgments with Israel.
22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.
23 And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the Lord: possess thou the west and the south.
24 And of Asher he said, Let Asher be blessed with children; let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.
25 Thy shoes shall be iron and brass; and as thy days, so shall thy strength be.
26 There is none like unto the God of Jeshurun, who rideth upon the heaven in thy help, and in his excellency on the sky.
27 The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee; and shall say, Destroy them.
28 Israel then shall dwell in safety alone: the fountain of Jacob shall be upon a land of corn and wine; also his heavens shall drop down dew.
29 Happy art thou, O Israel: who is like unto thee, O people saved by the Lord, the shield of thy help, and who is the sword of thy excellency! and thine enemies shall be found liars unto thee; and thou shalt tread upon their high places.
