2 Thessalonians 3:7-9
New American Standard Bible
7 For you yourselves know how you ought to [a](A)follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined way among you, 8 nor did we (B)eat [b]anyone’s bread [c]without paying for it, but with (C)labor and hardship we kept (D)working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you; 9 not because we do not have (E)the right to this, but in order to offer ourselves (F)as a role model for you, so that you would [d]follow our example.

2 Thessalonians 3:7-9
New International Version
7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example.(A) We were not idle when we were with you, 8 nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked(B) night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. 9 We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help,(C) but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate.(D)
2 Thessalonians 3:7-9
King James Version
7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
8 Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
