6 For among them are those who [a](A)enter into households and take captive [b](B)weak women weighed down with sins, being led on by (C)various desires, 7 always learning and never able to (D)come to the [c]full knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as (E)Jannes and Jambres (F)opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, (G)men of depraved mind, disqualified in regard to the faith. 9 But they will not make further progress, for their (H)folly will be obvious to all, just (I)as theirs was also.

6 For among them are those who worm their way into households and deceive gullible women overwhelmed by sins and led astray by a variety of passions,(A) 7 always learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.(B) 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres(C) resisted Moses,(D) so these also resist the truth. They are men who are corrupt in mind(E) and worthless(F) in regard to the faith. 9 But they will not make further progress, for their foolishness will be clear to all, as was the foolishness of Jannes and Jambres.
