¹⁷ and if children, then ^(A)heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, ^(B)if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

^33 (A)But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years

⁴ And I saw ^(A)thrones, and they sat on them, and ^(B)judgment was committed to them. Then I saw ^(C)the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, ^(D)who had not worshiped the beast ^(E)or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they ^(F)lived and ^(G)reigned with Christ for ^[a]a thousand years.

⁶ Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such ^(A)the second death has no power, but they shall be ^(B)priests of God and of Christ, ^(C)and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

⁹ But he who ^(A)denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.

^26 (A)For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ^(B)ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.

¹³ but rejoice ^(A)to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that ^(B)when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. ¹⁴ If you are ^[a]reproached for the name of Christ, ^(C)blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. ^[b]On their part He is blasphemed, ^(D)but on your part He is glorified. ¹⁵ But let none of you suffer as a murderer, a thief, an evildoer, or as a ^[c]busybody in other people’s matters. ¹⁶ Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this ^[d]matter.
