³ seeing that His ^(A)divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true ^(B)knowledge of Him who ^(C)called us ^[a]by His own glory and ^[b]excellence. ^4 [c]For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent ^(D)promises, so that by them you may become ^(E)partakers of the divine nature, having ^(F)escaped the ^(G)corruption that is in ^(H)the world by lust.

^3 (A)Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who ^(B)according to His great mercy ^(C)has caused us to be born again to ^(D)a living hope through the ^(E)resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

²³ for you have been ^(A)born again ^(B)not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring ^(C)word of God.

² For ^(A)the law of the Spirit of life ^[a]in ^(B)Christ Jesus ^(C)has set you free from the law of sin and of death.

^6 (A)For the mind set on the flesh is ^(B)death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,

^10 (A)If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is ^[a]alive because of righteousness.

¹¹ But if the Spirit of Him who ^(A)raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, ^(B)He who raised ^(C)Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies ^[a]through His Spirit who dwells in you.

³ For you have ^(A)died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. ⁴ When Christ, ^(B)who is our life, is revealed, ^(C)then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

⁴ Therefore we have been ^(A)buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was ^(B)raised from the dead through the ^(C)glory of the Father, so we too might walk in ^(D)newness of life. ⁵ For ^(E)if we have become ^[a]united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be ^[b]in the likeness of His resurrection,
