⁶ But now we have been ^(A)released from the Law, having ^(B)died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in ^(C)newness of ^(D)the ^[a]Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.

¹⁷ Therefore if anyone is ^(A)in Christ, ^[a]he is ^(B)a new creature; ^(C)the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

¹⁵ For ^(A)neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a ^(B)new ^[a]creation.

²³ and that you be ^(A)renewed in the spirit of your mind, ²⁴ and ^(B)put on the ^(C)new ^[a]self, which ^[b](D)in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

²⁵ Therefore, ^(E)laying aside falsehood, ^(F)speak truth each one of you with his neighbor, for we are ^(G)members of one another. ^26 (H)Be angry, and yet do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, ²⁷ and do not ^(I)give the devil ^[c]an opportunity. ²⁸ He who steals must steal no longer; but rather ^(J)he must labor, ^(K)performing with his own hands what is good, ^(L)so that he will have something to share with ^[d]one who has need. ²⁹ Let no ^[e](M)unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for ^(N)edification ^[f]according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. ^30 (O)Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, ^[g]by whom you were ^(P)sealed for the day of redemption. ^31 (Q)Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be ^(R)put away from you, along with all ^(S)malice. ^32 (T)Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, ^(U)just as God in Christ also has forgiven ^[h]you.

¹⁰ and have ^(A)put on the new self who is being ^[a](B)renewed to a true knowledge ^(C)according to the image of the One who ^(D)created him—
