³⁰ Once more a remnant^(A) of the kingdom of Judah
    will take root^(B) below and bear fruit above.

⁶ In days to come Jacob will take root,^(A)
    Israel will bud and blossom^(B)
    and fill all the world with fruit.^(C)

³¹ Once more a remnant of the kingdom of Judah
    will take root^(A) below and bear fruit^(B) above.
³² For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant,^(C)
    and out of Mount Zion a band of survivors.^(D)
The zeal^(E) of the Lord Almighty
    will accomplish this.

⁹ Unless the Lord Almighty
    had left us some survivors,^(A)
we would have become like Sodom,
    we would have been like Gomorrah.^(B)

    and it took root and filled the land.
