¹⁷ Truly, O Lord, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands

^25 (A)the secrets of his heart are disclosed, and so, ^(B)falling on his face, he will worship God and ^(C)declare that God is really among you.

²⁷ for truly in this city there were gathered together against your ^(A)holy servant Jesus, ^(B)whom you anointed, both ^(C)Herod and ^(D)Pontius Pilate, along ^(E)with the Gentiles and ^(F)the peoples of Israel,

⁵⁹ And after an interval of about an hour still another ^(A)insisted, saying, “Certainly this man also was with him, for he too is a Galilean.”

³³ And ^(A)those in the boat ^(B)worshiped him, saying, ^(C)“Truly you are ^(D)the Son of God.”

⁴⁷ The king answered and said to Daniel, “Truly, your ^(A)God is God of gods and ^(B)Lord of kings, and ^(C)a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this mystery.”

¹⁵ Only know for certain that if you put me to death, ^(A)you will bring innocent blood upon yourselves and upon this city and its inhabitants, for in truth the Lord sent me to you to speak all these words in your ears.”

^17 (A)The Lord will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father's house such days as have not come since the day that ^(B)Ephraim departed from Judah—the king of Assyria!”

¹⁸ In that day the Lord will ^(C)whistle for the fly that is at the end of the streams of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.
