4 (A)Entonces hizo un altar de bronce(B) de veinte codos[a] de largo, de veinte codos de ancho y de diez codos de alto. 2 (C)Hizo también el mar de metal fundido, de diez codos de borde a borde, en forma circular; su altura era de cinco codos y su circunferencia de treinta codos[b]. 3 Y había figuras como de bueyes debajo de él y todo alrededor, diez en cada codo, rodeando por completo el mar. Los bueyes estaban en dos hileras, fundidos en una sola pieza[c]. 4 El mar descansaba sobre doce bueyes; tres mirando al norte, tres mirando al occidente, tres mirando al sur y tres mirando al oriente; el mar descansaba sobre ellos y todas sus ancas estaban hacia adentro. 5 Su grueso era de un palmo, y su borde estaba hecho como el borde de un cáliz, como una flor de lirio; cabían en él tres mil batos[d](D). 6 Hizo también diez pilas para lavar, y puso cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda para lavar las cosas para el holocausto(E); pero el mar era para que los sacerdotes se lavaran en él.
7 Entonces hizo los diez candelabros de oro según su diseño[e] y los puso en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda(F). 8 Hizo además diez mesas(G) y las colocó en el templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda. Hizo también cien tazones de oro. 9 Después hizo el atrio(H) de los sacerdotes, el gran atrio(I) y las puertas para el atrio, y revistió las puertas de bronce. 10 Y puso el mar al lado[f] derecho de la casa, hacia el sureste(J).
11 (K)Hiram[g] hizo también los calderos, las palas y los tazones. Así terminó Hiram la obra que hizo para el rey Salomón en la casa de Dios: 12 las dos columnas, los tazones y los capiteles en lo alto de las dos columnas, y las dos mallas para cubrir los dos tazones de los capiteles que estaban encima de las columnas, 13 y las cuatrocientas granadas para las dos mallas, dos hileras de granadas para cada malla, para cubrir los dos tazones de los capiteles que estaban sobre las columnas(L). 14 Hizo también las basas, e hizo las pilas sobre las basas(M), 15 y el[h] mar con los doce bueyes debajo de él. 16 Los calderos, las palas, los garfios y todos sus utensilios los hizo Hiram-abí para el rey Salomón(N), para la casa del Señor, de bronce pulido. 17 El rey los fundió en la llanura del Jordán, en la tierra arcillosa entre Sucot y Seredata. 18 Y Salomón hizo todos estos utensilios en gran cantidad, de tal manera que el peso del bronce no se pudo determinar(O).

4 Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof, and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.
2 Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass it round about.
3 And under it was the similitude of oxen, which did compass it round about: ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast, when it was cast.
4 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts were inward.
5 And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held three thousand baths.
6 He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
7 And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
8 He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.
9 Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.
10 And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over against the south.
11 And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;
12 To wit, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the chapiters which were on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were on the top of the pillars;
13 And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars.
14 He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;
15 One sea, and twelve oxen under it.
16 The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their instruments, did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the Lord of bright brass.
17 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zeredathah.
18 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the brass could not be found out.
19 And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the golden altar also, and the tables whereon the shewbread was set;
20 Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;
21 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and that perfect gold;
22 And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.

Furniture for the Temple
4 He made a bronze altar that was 20 cubits[a] long, 20 cubits wide, and 10 cubits[b] tall. 2 Then he made a large tank[c] from melted bronze. It was round and it measured 10 cubits across from edge to edge. It was 5 cubits[d] tall and about 30 cubits[e] around. 3 There were images of bulls under the lip of the large bronze tank.[f] They were in two rows that went 10 cubits around the tank. The bulls were molded in place when the tank was shaped. 4 The large bronze tank was on top of twelve large statues of bulls. Three bulls looked toward the north. Three bulls looked toward the west. Three bulls looked toward the south. Three bulls looked toward the east. The large bronze tank was on top of these bulls. All the bulls stood with their rear ends to each other and to the center. 5 The large bronze tank was 3 inches[g] thick. The edge of the large tank was like the edge of a cup. The edge looked like a lily blossom. The tank could hold about 17,400 gallons.[h]
6 He made ten basins. He put five basins on the right side of the large bronze tank and five basins on the left side. These ten basins were to be used to wash the things offered for the burnt offerings. But the large bronze tank was to be used by the priests for washing before they offered sacrifices.
7 He made ten lampstands of gold. He followed the plans made for these lampstands. He put the lampstands in the Temple. There were five lampstands on the right side and five lampstands on the left side. 8 He made ten tables and put them in the Temple. Five tables were on the right side and five tables on the left side in the Temple. And he used gold to make 100 basins. 9 He also made the priests’ courtyard, the large courtyard, and the doors that open to them. He used bronze to cover these doors. 10 Then he put the large bronze tank on the right side of the Temple on the southeast side.
11 Huram also made the pots, shovels, and basins. So he finished his work for King Solomon on God’s Temple:
12-16 2 columns;
2 capitals shaped like bowls for the top of the columns;
2 nets to go around the capitals;
400 pomegranates for the two nets (two rows of pomegranates for each net to cover the two bowls for the capitals on top of the columns);
10 carts with a bowl on each cart;
the large tank with 12 bulls under it;
the pots, small shovels, small bowls, and all the dishes for the Lord’s Temple.
All the things that Huram made for King Solomon were made of polished bronze. 17 King Solomon first poured these things in clay molds. The molds were made in the Jordan Valley between the towns of Succoth and Zeredah. 18 Solomon made so many of them that no one tried to weigh the bronze used.
19 Solomon also made the dishes and things for God’s Temple. He made the golden altar and the tables where they put the bread of the Presence. 20 He made the lamps and lampstands of pure gold. These were put inside the Holy Place in front of the Most Holy Place. 21 He used pure gold to make the flowers, lamps, and tongs.[i] 22 He used pure gold to make the lamp snuffers, bowls, pans, and the censers.[j] He used pure gold to make the doors for the Temple, the inside doors for the Most Holy Place and the doors for the main hall.

19 Thus (U)Solomon had all the furnishings made for the house of God: the altar of gold and the tables on which was (V)the showbread; 20 the lampstands with their lamps of pure gold, to burn (W)in the prescribed manner in front of the inner sanctuary, 21 with (X)the flowers and the lamps and the wick-trimmers of gold, of purest gold; 22 the trimmers, the bowls, the ladles, and the censers of pure gold. As for the entry of the [f]sanctuary, its inner doors to the Most Holy Place, and the doors of the main hall of the temple, were gold.
