Ang Salita ng Diyos
4 Siya ang nagbibigay sa amin ng kaaliwan sa lahat ng aming kahirapan. Ito ay upang maaliw namin silang mga nasa kahirapan sa pamamagitan ng kaaliwan na kung saan inaliw kami ng Diyos. 5 Ito ay sapagkat kung papaanong ang paghihirap ni Cristo ay sumasagana sa amin, gayundin naman sa pamamagitan ni Cristo sumasagana ang aming kaaliwan. 6 Ngunit kung kami man ay nahihirapan, ito ay para sa inyong kaaliwan at kaligtasan. Ito ay ginawa sa pamamagitan ng pagbabata ng katulad na paghihirap na aming dinanas. Ngunit kung kami man ay aliwin, ito ay para sa inyong kaaliwan at kaligtasan.

4 Inaaliw niya tayo sa lahat ng ating paghihirap, upang maaliw natin ang nasa anumang paghihirap, sa pamamagitan ng kaaliwang tinanggap natin mula sa Diyos. 5 Sapagkat kung paanong ang paghihirap ni Cristo ay sumasagana sa ating buhay, sa pamamagitan din ni Cristo ay umaapaw ang ating kaaliwan. 6 Ngunit kung pinahihirapan man kami, ito ay upang kayo'y maaliw at maligtas. Kung kami ay inaaliw, ito ay upang kayo'y maaliw, at sa pamamagitan nito'y magkakaroon kayo ng kakayahang magtiis ng mga pagdurusang aming dinaranas.

4 Which comforteth us in all our tribulation, [a]that we may be able to comfort them which are in any affliction by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
5 For as the [b]sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation aboundeth through Christ.
6 [c]And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is [d]wrought in the enduring of the same sufferings, which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
