2 Corinthians 4:13-5:10 English Standard Version (ESV)
13 Since we have the same spirit of faith according to what has been written, “I believed, and so I spoke,” we also believe, and so we also speak, 14 knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and bring us with you into his presence. 15 For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.
16 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self[a] is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. 17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18 as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
Our Heavenly Dwelling
5 For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, 3 if indeed by putting it on[b] we may not be found naked. 4 For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5 He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.
6 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

The Lord Answers Job
38 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind and said:
2 “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?
4 “Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?
8 “Or who shut in the sea with doors
12 “Have you commanded the morning since your days began,
16 “Have you entered into the springs of the sea,
19 “Where is the way to the dwelling of light,
22 “Have you entered the storehouses of the snow,
25 “Who has cleft a channel for the torrents of rain
28 “Has the rain a father,
31 “Can you bind the chains of the Pleiades
34 “Can you lift up your voice to the clouds,
39 “Can you hunt the prey for the lion,
39 “Do you know when the mountain goats give birth?
5 “Who has let the wild donkey go free?
9 “Is the wild ox willing to serve you?
13 “The wings of the ostrich wave proudly,
19 “Do you give the horse his might?
26 “Is it by your understanding that the hawk soars
