2 Corinthians 13

13 This is the third time that I’m coming to visit you. Every matter is settled on the evidence of two or three witnesses. 2 When I was with you on my second visit, I already warned those who continued to sin. Now I’m repeating that warning to all the rest of you while I’m at a safe distance: if I come again, I won’t spare anyone. 3 Since you are demanding proof that Christ speaks through me, Christ isn’t weak in dealing with you but shows his power among you. 4 Certainly he was crucified because of weakness, but he lives by the power of God. Certainly we also are weak in him, but we will live together with him, because of God’s power that is directed toward you.
5 Examine yourselves to see if you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Don’t you understand that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless, of course, you fail the test. 6 But I hope that you will realize that we don’t fail the test. 7 We pray to God that you don’t do anything wrong, not because we want to appear to pass the test but so that you might do the right thing, even if we appear to fail.
8 We can’t do anything against the truth but only to help the truth. 9 We are happy when we are weak but you are strong. We pray for this: that you will be made complete. 10 This is why I’m writing these things while I’m away. I’m writing so that I won’t need to act harshly when I’m with you by using the authority that the Lord gave me. He gave it to me so that I could build you up, not tear you down.

11 Finally, brothers and sisters, good-bye. Put things in order, respond to my encouragement, be in harmony with each other, and live in peace—and the God of love and peace will be with you.
12 Say hello to each other with a holy kiss.[a] All of God’s people say hello to you.
13 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

For (J)we also are weak in Him, but we shall live with Him by the power of God toward you.
5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, (K)that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you [b]are (L)disqualified. 6 But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.

7 Now [c]I pray to God that you do no evil, not that we should appear approved, but that you should do what is honorable, though (M)we may seem disqualified. 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 9 For we are glad (N)when we are weak and you are strong. And this also we pray, (O)that you may be made complete. 10 (P)Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the (Q)authority which the Lord has given me for edification and not for destruction.

13 Ito (A) ang ikatlong pagpunta ko sa inyo. “Ang bawat paratang ay dapat pagtibayin batay sa patotoo ng dalawa o tatlong saksi.” 2 Noong nariyan ako sa ikalawa kong pagdalaw, binalaan ko ang mga dati nang nagkasala at lahat ng iba pa. Ngayong ako'y wala diyan sa inyo ay muli akong nagbababala, na sa muli kong pagdating, sila'y hindi makaliligtas sa parusang igagawad ko, 3 yamang naghahanap kayo ng patunay na si Cristo ay nagsasalita sa pamamagitan ko. Hindi siya mahina sa pakikitungo sa inyo, kundi kumikilos na may kapangyarihan sa inyo. 4 Sapagkat siya'y ipinako sa krus noong siya'y mahina, ngunit siya'y nabubuhay sa pamamagitan ng kapangyarihan ng Diyos. Kami man ay mahihina dahil sa kanya, ngunit dahil sa aming pakikitungo sa inyo ay mabubuhay kami kasama niya sa pamamagitan ng kapangyarihan ng Diyos.
5 Suriin ninyo ang inyong mga sarili, kung kayo'y nasa pananampalataya. Subukin ninyo ang inyong mga sarili. Hindi ba ninyo nababatid na si Jesu-Cristo ay nasa inyo—maliban na lamang kung kayo'y hindi nagtagumpay sa pagsubok. 6 At ako'y umaasa na inyong mauunawaan na kami ay hindi bumagsak sa pagsubok. 7 Dalangin namin sa Diyos na huwag sana kayong gumawa ng masama, hindi upang kami'y magmistulang nagtagumpay sa pagsubok, kundi upang magawa ninyo kung ano ang tama, bagaman kami ay magmistulang mga bumagsak sa pagsubok. 8 Sapagkat wala kaming magagawang anuman laban sa katotohanan, kundi tanging para sa katotohanan. 9 Natutuwa kami kung kami'y mahihina ngunit kayo nama'y malalakas. Idinadalangin nga namin ang inyong pag-unlad. 10 Kaya't isinusulat ko ang mga bagay na ito habang ako'y wala pa sa inyo, upang pagpunta ko sa inyo ay hindi ko na kailangang maging mabagsik sa paggamit ko ng kapangyarihang ibinigay sa akin ng Panginoon upang patatagin kayo, at hindi upang wasakin.
11 At ngayon, mga kapatid, kagalakan ang sumainyo. Magpatuloy kayo sa paglago. Maging masigla kayo. Magkasundo kayo. Mamuhay kayo nang may kapayapaan at mapapasainyo ang Diyos ng pag-ibig at ng kapayapaan. 12 Magbatian kayo ng banal na halik. 13 Binabati kayo ng lahat ng mga banal.
14 Sumainyo nawang lahat ang biyaya ng Panginoong Jesu-Cristo, ang pag-ibig ng Diyos, at ang pakikisama ng[a] Banal na Espiritu.
