¹⁸ Now all things are of God, ^(A)who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

²⁰ and ^(A)by Him to reconcile ^(B)all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, ^(C)having made peace through the blood of His cross.

²¹ And you, ^(D)who once were alienated and enemies in your mind ^(E)by wicked works, yet now He has ^(F)reconciled

¹⁹ that is, that ^(A)God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not ^[a]imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

²⁰ Now then, we are ^(B)ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

¹⁰ For ^(A)if when we were enemies ^(B)we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved ^(C)by His life. ¹¹ And not only that, but we also ^(D)rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

¹⁶ and that He might ^(A)reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby ^(B)putting to death the enmity. ¹⁷ And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near.

Faith Triumphs in Trouble

5 Therefore, ^(A)having been justified by faith, ^[a]we have ^(B)peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

¹⁰ In this is love, ^(A)not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son ^(B)to be the propitiation for our sins.

¹⁶ For ^(A)by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or ^(B)dominions or ^[a]principalities or ^[b]powers. All things were created ^(C)through Him and for Him. ^17 (D)And He is before all things, and in Him ^(E)all things consist.

³⁶ For ^(A)of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, ^(B)to whom be glory forever. Amen.
