¹¹ Finally, brothers and sisters,^(A) rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace.^(B) And the God of love^(C) and peace^(D) will be with you.

Warning and Encouragement

¹⁴ Make every effort to live in peace with everyone^(A) and to be holy;^(B) without holiness no one will see the Lord.^(C)

¹⁶ Live in harmony with one another.^(A) Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.^[a] Do not be conceited.^(B)

A Church Divided Over Leaders

¹⁰ I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,^[a](A) in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you,^(B) but that you be perfectly united^(C) in mind and thought.

³³ The God of peace^(A) be with you all. Amen.

¹⁸ If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.^(A)

⁵⁰ “Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again?^(A) Have salt among yourselves,^(B) and be at peace with each other.”^(C)

Imitating Christ’s Humility

2 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit,^(A) if any tenderness and compassion,^{(B) 2} then make my joy complete^(C) by being like-minded,^(D) having the same love, being one^(E) in spirit and of one mind. ³ Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.^(F) Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,^(G)
