¹⁴ And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, keeper of the east gate, was over the freewill offerings to God, to apportion the contribution reserved for the Lord and the most holy offerings.

¹³ And ^(A)I appointed as treasurers over the storehouses Shelemiah the priest, Zadok the scribe, and Pedaiah of the Levites, and as their assistant Hanan the son of Zaccur, son of Mattaniah, ^(B)for they were considered reliable, and their duty was to distribute to their brothers.

^16 (A)with all the silver and gold that you shall find in the whole province of Babylonia, and ^(B)with the freewill offerings of the people and the priests, vowed willingly for the house of their God that is in Jerusalem.

⁵ and after that the regular burnt ^(A)offerings, the offerings at the new moon ^(B)and at all the appointed feasts of the Lord, and the offerings of everyone who made a freewill offering to the Lord.

⁴ And let each survivor, in whatever place he sojourns, be assisted by the men of his place with silver and gold, with goods and with beasts, besides freewill offerings for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.”

¹⁷ On the east there were six each day,^[a] on the north four each day, on the south four each day, as well as two and two at the gatehouse.

¹⁴ The lot for the east fell to Shelemiah. They cast lots also for his son Zechariah, a shrewd counselor, and his lot came out for the north.

¹² These divisions of the gatekeepers, corresponding to their chief men, had duties, just as their brothers did, ministering in the house of the Lord.

¹⁰ Then you shall keep ^(A)the Feast of Weeks to the Lord your God with ^(B)the tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give ^(C)as the Lord your God blesses you.
