¹¹ However, ^(A)some men of Asher, of Manasseh, and of Zebulun humbled themselves and came to Jerusalem.

²¹ And the people of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept ^(A)the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with great gladness, and the Levites and the priests praised the Lord day by day, singing with all their might^[a] to the Lord.

¹⁸ For a majority of the people, ^(A)many of them from Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover otherwise ^(B)than as prescribed. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good Lord pardon everyone

²⁵ The whole assembly of Judah, and the priests and the Levites, ^(A)and the whole assembly that came out of Israel, and the sojourners who came out of the land of Israel, and the sojourners who lived in Judah, rejoiced.

^6 (A)Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,

^10 (A)Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

³⁴ But some men joined him and believed, among whom also were Dionysius ^(A)the Areopagite and a woman named Damaris and others with them.

¹⁴ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For ^(A)everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

¹¹ For ^(A)everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”

²² And you his son,^{[a] (A)}Belshazzar, ^(B)have not humbled your heart, though you knew all this,
