3 (A)Най-после, братя, молете се за нас, да напредва бързо Господнето слово и да се прославя, както и у вас,
2 (B)и да се избавим от неразбраните и нечестиви човеци; защото не във всички има вяра.
3 (C)Но верен е Господ, Който ще ви утвърди и ще ви опази от лукавия.
4 (D)И сме уверени в Господа за вас, че и вършите това, и ще вършите това, което заповядваме.
5 (E)А Господ да насочи сърцата ви в пътя на Божията любов и в Христовото търпение.
Задължения за ежедневен труд
6 (F)Заръчваме ви още, братя, в името на нашия Господ Исус Христос, да страните от всеки брат, който постъпва нередно, а не по преданието, което сте приели от нас.
7 (G)Понеже самите вие знаете как трябва да ни подражавате, защото ние не вършихме нередни неща между вас,
8 (H)нито даром ядохме хляб у някого, а с труд и усилие работихме нощем и денем, за да не бъдем в тежест на нито един от вас;
9 (I)не че нямаме правото, а за да ви представим себе си за пример, за да ни подражавате.
10 (J)Защото и когато бяхме при вас, заръчахме ви това: Ако някой не иска да работи, той не бива и да яде.
11 (K)Понеже слушаме как някои постъпвали нередно между вас, като не работели нищо, а се месели в чужди работи.
12 (L)На такива заръчваме и ги увещаваме в името на Господ Исус Христос да работят тихо и да ядат своя си хляб.
13 (M)А на вас, братя, да не ви дотяга да вършите добро.
14 (N)И ако някой не се покорява на нашето слово чрез това послание, забележете го, за да не се събирате с него, с цел да се засрами.
15 (O)Обаче недейте го смята за неприятел, а го наставлявайте като брат.
16 (P)А сам Господ на мира да ви дава мир винаги и всякак; Господ да бъде с всички ви.
17 (Q)Поздрава с моята собствена ръка, който е белег на всяко послание, аз, Павел, пиша така:

Paul’s Final Instructions for the Thessalonians
3 Finally, brothers and sisters, pray that we spread the Lord’s word rapidly and that it will be honored the way it was among you. 2 Also pray that we may be rescued from worthless and evil people, since not everyone shares our faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful and will strengthen you and protect you against the evil one.
4 The Lord gives us confidence that you are doing and will continue to do what we ordered you to do. 5 May the Lord direct your lives as you show God’s love and Christ’s endurance.
6 Brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Yeshua Christ we order you not to associate with any believer who doesn’t live a disciplined life and doesn’t follow the tradition you received from us. 7 You know what you must do to imitate us. We lived a disciplined life among you. 8 We didn’t eat anyone’s food without paying for it. Instead, we worked hard and struggled night and day in order not to be a burden to any of you. 9 It’s not as though we didn’t have a right to receive support. Rather, we wanted to set an example for you to follow. 10 While we were with you, we gave you the order: “Whoever doesn’t want to work shouldn’t be allowed to eat.”
11 We hear that some of you are not living disciplined lives. You’re not working, so you go around interfering in other people’s lives. 12 We order and encourage such people by the Lord Yeshua Christ to pay attention to their own work so they can support themselves. 13 Brothers and sisters, we can’t allow ourselves to get tired of doing what is right.
14 It may be that some people will not listen to what we say in this letter. Take note of them and don’t associate with them so that they will feel ashamed. 15 Yet, don’t treat them like enemies, but instruct them like brothers and sisters.
Farewell
16 May the Lord of peace give you his peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
17 I, Paul, am writing this greeting with my own hand. In every letter that I send, this is proof that I wrote it.
18 The good will[a] of our Lord Yeshua Christ be with all of you.

Paul’s Request for Prayer
3 Finally, dear brothers and sisters,[a] we ask you to pray for us. Pray that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and be honored wherever it goes, just as when it came to you. 2 Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer. 3 But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.[b] 4 And we are confident in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we commanded you. 5 May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
An Exhortation to Proper Living
6 And now, dear brothers and sisters, we give you this command in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ: Stay away from all believers[c] who live idle lives and don’t follow the tradition they received[d] from us. 7 For you know that you ought to imitate us. We were not idle when we were with you. 8 We never accepted food from anyone without paying for it. We worked hard day and night so we would not be a burden to any of you. 9 We certainly had the right to ask you to feed us, but we wanted to give you an example to follow. 10 Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.”
11 Yet we hear that some of you are living idle lives, refusing to work and meddling in other people’s business. 12 We command such people and urge them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and work to earn their own living. 13 As for the rest of you, dear brothers and sisters, never get tired of doing good.
14 Take note of those who refuse to obey what we say in this letter. Stay away from them so they will be ashamed. 15 Don’t think of them as enemies, but warn them as you would a brother or sister.[e]
Paul’s Final Greetings
16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.
17 HERE IS MY GREETING IN MY OWN HANDWRITING—PAUL. I DO THIS IN ALL MY LETTERS TO PROVE THEY ARE FROM ME.
18 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
