New Matthew Bible
21 But if a man purges himself from such fellows, he will be a vessel sanctified unto honour, meet for the Lord and prepared for all good works.
22 Lusts of youth avoid. Follow righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart. 23 Foolish and unlearned controversies put from you, remembering that they do but engender strife.

21 Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.(A)
22 Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love(B) and peace, along with those who call on the Lord(C) out of a pure heart.(D) 23 Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels.(E)
