10 For even (A)when we were with you, we used to give you this order: (B)if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either. 11 For we hear that some among you are (C)leading an undisciplined life, doing no work at all, but acting like (D)busybodies. 12 Now we command and (E)exhort such persons in the Lord Jesus Christ to (F)work [a]peacefully and eat their own bread. 13 But as for you, (G)brothers and sisters, (H)do not grow weary of doing good.

14 If anyone does not obey our [b]instruction [c](I)in this letter, take special note of that person so as (J)not to associate with him, so that he will be (K)put to shame. 15 And yet (L)do not regard that person as an enemy, but [d](M)admonish that one as a (N)brother or sister.

11 We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies.(C) 12 Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ(D) to settle down and earn the food they eat.(E) 13 And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good.(F)

14 Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them,(G) in order that they may feel ashamed.(H) 15 Yet do not regard them as an enemy, but warn them as you would a fellow believer.(I)
