³ Then David struck ^(A)Hadadezer, the son of Rehob king of Zobah, as ^(B)he went to restore his ^[a]power at the ^[b]River.

⁵ Then ^(A)the Arameans of Damascus came to help Hadadezer, king of Zobah. And David struck down 22,000 Arameans.
