11 when I chose judges for my people Israel. But I will give you peace from all your enemies. I also tell you that I will make your descendants kings of Israel after you.
12 “‘When you die and join your ancestors, I will make one of your sons the next king, and I will set up his kingdom. 13 He will build a house for me, and I will let his kingdom rule always.

11 and have done ever since the time I appointed leaders[a](A) over my people Israel. I will also give you rest from all your enemies.(B)
“‘The Lord declares(C) to you that the Lord himself will establish(D) a house(E) for you: 12 When your days are over and you rest(F) with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood,(G) and I will establish his kingdom.(H) 13 He is the one who will build a house(I) for my Name,(J) and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.(K)
