¹⁸ So now, do it! For Yahweh has spoken of David, saying, ‘^(A)By the hand of My servant David ^[a]I will save My people Israel from the hand of the Philistines and from the hand of all their enemies.’”

⁶ Then David placed garrisons among the Arameans of Damascus; and ^(A)the Arameans became servants to David, bringing tribute. And ^(B)Yahweh granted salvation to David wherever he went.
