30 Ginkarga sang iya mga alagad ang iya bangkay sa karwahe kag gindala balik sa Jerusalem kag ginlubong sa iya kaugalingon nga lulubngan. Ang iya anak nga si Jehoahaz amo ang ginbulos sang katawhan sang Juda nga hari paagi sa paghaplas sa iya sang lana.

Ang Paghari ni Jehoahaz sa Juda(A)

31 Nagaedad si Jehoahaz sang 23 ka tuig sang nangin hari siya. Sa Jerusalem siya nag-estar, kag naghari siya sa sulod sang tatlo ka bulan. Ang iya iloy amo si Hamutal nga anak ni Jeremias nga taga-Libna. 32 Malain ang iya ginhimo sa panulok sang Ginoo, pareho sa ginhimo sang iya mga katigulangan. 33 Ginpriso siya ni Faraon Neco sa Ribla nga sakop sang duta sang Hamat, agod indi siya maghari sa Jerusalem. Ginpabayad ni Neco ang Juda sang buhis nga mga 3,500 ka kilo nga pilak kag 35 ka kilo nga bulawan. 34 Si Eliakim nga isa pa ka anak ni Josia amo ang ginbulos ni Neco nga hari. Gin-ilisan ni Neco ang ngalan ni Eliakim nga Jehoyakim. Si Jehoahaz iya gindala ni Neco sa Egipto kag didto siya napatay. 35 Ginpabayad ni Haring Jehoyakim sang buhis ang mga taga-Juda suno sa ila manggad, agod makabayad siya sang buhis nga ginapabayad ni Faraon Neco.

30 Josiah’s servants brought his body in a chariot(A) from Megiddo to Jerusalem and buried him in his own tomb. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz son of Josiah and anointed him and made him king in place of his father.

Jehoahaz King of Judah(B)

31 Jehoahaz(C) was twenty-three years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother’s name was Hamutal(D) daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah. 32 He did evil(E) in the eyes of the Lord, just as his predecessors had done. 33 Pharaoh Necho put him in chains at Riblah(F) in the land of Hamath(G) so that he might not reign in Jerusalem, and he imposed on Judah a levy of a hundred talents[a] of silver and a talent[b] of gold. 34 Pharaoh Necho made Eliakim(H) son of Josiah king in place of his father Josiah and changed Eliakim’s name to Jehoiakim. But he took Jehoahaz and carried him off to Egypt, and there he died.(I) 35 Jehoiakim paid Pharaoh Necho the silver and gold he demanded. In order to do so, he taxed the land and exacted the silver and gold from the people of the land according to their assessments.(J)

31 Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.

32 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his fathers had done.

33 And Pharaohnechoh put him in bands at Riblah in the land of Hamath, that he might not reign in Jerusalem; and put the land to a tribute of an hundred talents of silver, and a talent of gold.

34 And Pharaohnechoh made Eliakim the son of Josiah king in the room of Josiah his father, and turned his name to Jehoiakim, and took Jehoahaz away: and he came to Egypt, and died there.

35 And Jehoiakim gave the silver and the gold to Pharaoh; but he taxed the land to give the money according to the commandment of Pharaoh: he exacted the silver and the gold of the people of the land, of every one according to his taxation, to give it unto Pharaohnechoh.
